It's worth dropping by now and then to see what new deals may be available.

Sure, it's expensive, but the quality of the produce is consistently exceptional. You can always count on them to have a great variety of fresh salad greens, sweet vine-ripened baby tomatoes, delicious grape varieties (cotton candy grapes...yum), juicy berries and amazing stone fruit in the summer. They just seem to know where to source the most delicious produce year round. But it's also a specialty food shop. They have a nice selection of olive oils, pasta sauces, spices and tons of essentials, as well as dry goods. Plus they stock fresh juices, baked goods from some of Toronto's finest bakeries, and they even sell premium smoked salmon from Kristapson's. I love having a shop like this right around the corner! Well done guys.

I like how I can refer friends where I provide them a discount and I can also earn credits when they sign up. An area of improvement would be if I could drop off the bag at a nearby hub (just like I can pick up at a nearby hub) instead of having to go all the way downtown to return it. I know I can have it picked up at the next delivery and the time limit they offer to not be charged yet is a long time, so it's not an issue but always offering more options to customers is a good idea. I'm excited for the opening of their new location and hope to visit once it kicks off in November.

With so many of us staying at home we are very relied on services like FCF to deliver us much needed weekly produce and groceries to keep us fed. They are always timely with their deliveries and have never been later than they said they were going to be. They give you a wide range (till midnight of the day you are supposed to get your items) and if you plan ahead properly and make their delivery schedule work for you then you should be golden. I also love that they give the produce in a cardboard box that is easily recyclable or can be used for storage. Lastly their products are very high quality. Our household was never a real organic food household due to the price point but FCF makes it very affordable to get high quality ingredients and raw organic vegetables, which make you feel better after eating your meal. I very much look forward to our weekly delivery!

Not to mention it's dirt cheap. I eat A LOT of fruits and veggies, which can get pretty pricey...thanks to Fruit King I can afford to feed myself :) And the good doesn't stop there. For such a tiny hole-in-the-wall market they still manage to have a great variety of produce. I should mention though that if you're looking for a fully stocked grocery you've come to the wrong place. However, they do carry things are difficult to find in regular groceries (for example, lemon grass...I can NEVER find lemon grass!). And you'll find other goodies besides fruits and veggies-- cheap spices, dry noodles, Asian cooking sauces, canned/jarred goods, dried fruit, etc. As far as service goes it's top-notch. I have lived within 20 min walking distance of this place for over a year now, but just found it about a month and half ago. They always have a good selection of whatever is in season locally and as well as some staples that most people want all year round. In August and September I couldn't go wrong. I was only getting the locally grown fruits/veggies and they were fabulous. Now that it is getting later in the season and the local stuff isn't looking quite as good. I have started sampling other things and they have been nearly as good as the local stuff I was getting in the summer. Oh, also their flowers are nice and very reasonable priced. I can't tell you how the quality or pricing on anything outside of fruit, vegetables and flowers are because I haven't gotten anything else.
