We arrived close to opening, which in Solna for most businesses is around 11 am. The cafe was amazingly clean, nicely decorated and open to see even the kitchen. The toppings were on full display, fresh not bagged veggies, beautiful meats. We ordered 2 pizzas, a kabob pizza, basically imagine a gyro in pizza form. The meat was some of the best I have ever had. It was different from the processed mush meat used in gyro, this was real cut roasted meat not processed through a blender. Amazing fresh tomatoes, peppers and yes believe it or not lettuce. Topped with a tzatziki sauce and a slightly spicy sauce. Pure delight. The second pizza was called the Al Pacino, Salami, if I am not mistaken was Genoa, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions and olives. The sauce was delicious and the crust absolutely amazing. This crust was amazing thin, thinner that US thin crust. In Sweden you will find more zero sugar drinks than normal drinks and for most soda type drinks there are many more flavors than the U.S. If you are in Solna Sweden and are looking for pizza, this is a must stop. Well worth my one week stay…read more The hotel is basically brand new (opened in January 2016) with a modern touch, unique from all the other major hotel chains we all know. The theme of the hotel is all to do with winery and has a great collection of wine. They have their own branded wine that they make in-house. The hotel also has a beautiful lobby and bar area on the first floor. The rooms are beautifully laid, comfortable, and quiet, however, they are a little small. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have one of the good breakfast meals and are located in close proximity to the Mall of Scandinavia. You can also access the bus close by, but to get to the train, you'll have to get a taxi. You can also rent the bicycles they have to get around. The Winery Kitchen Restaurant on the first floor has a nice menu for dinner and you need to check it out when you stay here. They also have a pizza restaurant across from the check-in desk which really has awesome food and drinks. Of course, don't forget to sign up for the winery tour! They have a winery just behind the front desk and you can see the oak barrels used to store wine. You can always request to have the tour conducted in English. Overall, wife and I enjoyed our week's stay here.

The salad I got was just flippin' gross. A caesar with cold rubbery chicken, slimy prosciutto and really watery dressing. I think ICA could have done better. The pasta was tomato and noodles. Literally nothing else. No flavor. Nada. The Blanco pizza was just ok. It had hardly any sauce! I also didn't like that they cooked the pizza and then put cold oily artichoke hearts on top. Why not roast them on the pizza too? WTF!? I felt like everything here wasn't really "cooked"... but just "assembled." Which, is weird since it took over 35 minutes to get our order (fast-casual my ass!) I also think that the attitude we got when asking for them to take back the yucky pasta and salad and replace them with pizza instead was pretty unnecessary. The waitstaff here just plain sucked. Even when asking for something so simple as refill of water we were met with a miserable grunt and a look of distaste. Not a single word. Not a "Oh sure! not a problem" or a "I would be happy to"... just a caveman like "Euhhhhh" in response. Well... to tell you the truth that just about sums up how I feel about it here... "Euhhhhhh!"

The food was prepared really quickly and the staff who works there is very friendly. The food was truly tasty! I like everything, especially the meatball sauce. The only thing I didn't like was the lingonberry thing but they put it in the side and it's not mixed with the other ingredients. So no problem at all. The bread and the salad bar were good and free. Good prices too. I didn't notice anything negative in this place or my order, so I suggest it!
