The daily special was a fantastic choice. The ravioli and bore soup was very tasty and more than enough.

Places a phone order today for $42.50. Arrived at 4pm to…read morepick up my order. Went to my car decided I wanted an order of bruschetta. Went back and placed an order. The young lady said a few minutes. Okay, no problem. I was standing waiting at first; normally it takes 5 minutes. We're at 10 minutes now so I sat down. Young lady says to me "it will only be a few more minutes " okay. Still waiting..... now we're at 45 MINUTES! I CANCELLED IT at this point because this is absurd! 45 minutes for toast, tomatoes and cheese. She goes to check if it's ready first, NOPE NOT READY. Mind you it's been 45 minutes! The " head chef" came walking out being snarky. Had an attitude work me instead of offering an apology. No sorry for wait or inconvenience. Mind you my other food is in the car ice cold now because it's almost an hour now I waited for BRUSCHETTA. I've been a patron for over 10yrs. I have no idea what's happening with management. Very disappointed I will keep in mind my treatment on today before ordering again.

The location is superb looking down on a Tuscan valley and hillside as far as you can see. We…read morebarely made it in before they closed their kitchen for lunch. In fact, a family came in just after we sat down, and they could not get any food except drinks and dessert. The mixed Tuscan crostini plate (photo) was very good with several Tuscan specialty meat and cheese, chicken pate, fresh ripe tomatoes...my wife said she had the best salad with tuna (photo) ever. I thought every ingredient was very fresh. With a Yelp check-in, you'll receive a complimentary glass of procecco (Italian sparkling wine) which was very nice. Overall a great dining experience here. If you're in the vicinity of Monticchiello, Italy, this is a must stop. There's a large free parking lot within a five-minute walk. Highly recommended.

During our trip to Assisi, we stumbled upon this hidden gem…read more The service was impressively fast--we ordered and received our food within 10 minutes. The ambiance is charming, with a cozy, small-shop feel tucked away in the alleys of Italy. Umbria, the region's cuisine, is known for its bold flavors, local wines, and use of fresh herbs. We tried a few standout dishes: * Tagliolini al tartufo - 5/5 (Rich, earthy truffle flavor, perfectly cooked pasta) * Gnocchi al ragù - 4/5 (Soft gnocchi with a flavorful meat sauce) * Agnello (lamb) with roasted potatoes - 4/5 (Tender and well-seasoned, but could use a bit more crispiness) * Legumi e cereali soup (legume, cereal, and pumpkin soup) - 4/5 (Warm and hearty, great for a chilly day)

The service was pretty mediocre, as well as the food. I as expecting greatness, I mean a trattoria in Assisi!? C'mon!! I was definitely disappointed. My mother ordered gnocchi even though the sauce was pretty decent, they were made by flour, not potatoes, meaning no authentic. I had beef with rosemary and it was kinda bland, not what I was expecting. Prices were average, and they charge €2.5 Cover charge per person ( the infamous Cuperto) Not recommended
