Mang Inasal is a must-have for Big Bro and I whenever we're at the homeland. And it doesn't matter which to go to so long as we stop at one.
Trekking from Nueva Vizcaya to Pangasinan via Malico, it was time for us to take a break. I didn't feel like Jollibee or any other eatery Magic Mall was offering. I reminded Big Bro we haven't had Mang Inasal (on this PI trip) yet...
... and that's how we ended up here.
I wanted some add ons to my meal. (I didn't want just chicken and rice.) Then come the solo fiesta meals that came with the usual rice and chicken as well as an egg roll, pork BBQ and palabok.
I know. I realized that was a lot when I was halfway through that I couldn't get to the BBQ, I was way too full. I also shared some of the palabok with my Mom.
But this was a deal! Chicken is grilled and seasoned well, it has that Mang Inasal brand of taste. Palabok was also delish with good amount of sauce. The eggroll was okay, average at best.
FOOD: 4.
SERVICE:4. So... there was 10 of us that had different kinds of orders and it got complicated. Cashier and servers somehow figured it all out and everyone got their orders right!
VALUE: 4.
PARKING: Located in Magic Mall. We opted for street parking because it was more convenient. Not sure if they have a parking structure.
OVERALL: 4.
Happy that we ticked this off the check list! Looking forward to visiting another one of these (possibly this one again) on the next homeland visit. read more
