The woman working the shop was fabulous. She was fun and engaging. I was impressed by the numerous authentic cotton summerish dresses dating back to the 1880-1910s. And they are in darn good condition. The white cotton garden dresses look like unlined modern summer dresses. Stylish even in modern times. They had some full vintage party and formal dresses. The costume jewelry and hair accessories were gorgeous. The vintage porcelain dolls were giving me the side eye and giving off Annabelle vibes. The shop is open Friday -Sunday 12pm-5pm. Plus the owner always has some unique one of kind finds. Last year, he had a vintage restored warehouse scale. Smallest in size & population. Anyways back to the picker and his store front. The shop is on Old Route 49 aka Main Street. The shop has a variety of items but no articles of clothing. The ladies across the street have that covered. He is the new kid on the block, just opening up his brick n mortar shop a few months ago. But not new to the art of vintage picking. He also sells online. I was impressed with the shop's inventory of tableware, crockery, and silverware. I noticed he had Wedgwood, Spode, and Fiesta china. He had vintage signs, framed photo art, pieces of furniture, toys, and sports memorabilia. All items were beautifully curated and displayed. The shop was clean, not dusty musty. Sports enthusiasts, did ya catch that I mentioned sports memorabilia? For now the in shop inventory is limited. But enough to catch the attention of Hubs. Hubs is not a vintage shopper. But when he saw a commemorative 1981championship pin for the LA Dodgers, he spruced up. He bought it, $14. He rarely cracks open his wallet. The pin was in pretty good condition. Paul has beautiful china in the shop and told me that he could probably find any piece I was looking for if he didn't have it already. I purchased 2 butter pats from Paul from a pattern that I had never seen in person. I am looking forward to my next visit as Paul told me that his inventory is frequently changed, and I'm looking forward to more chats with Paul and his beautiful wife!
