The place is small but clean & nice enough and the staff when I entered were pleasant enough. Gemma was my stylist & I was waiting a few minutes where I got to see her previous client. Her hair was really well cut & looked fantastic so I took the plunge and got my long hair cut into a shorter bob. Gemma took the time to look at my hair first and discuss my hair type & what might suit me, which I think is essential. I really like the result & have been getting compliments about it all week, with a couple of people asking me where I got my hair cut. I even got offered a great deal to return which is fantastic & will definitely get me back in. Try it out!

It is always very clean and well maintained, with two TVs tuned to SkySports. I'm sure there's other barbers that are pretty good in the town - but since I started coming here I've never felt compelled to go elsewhere. I usually go to Rob, he's a good dude and is quick with the shears. Always has a story and laugh so it makes a trip to Rory's a good little visit instead of a chore for a mundane task like a haircut. No complaints here, can only encourage you to give Rory's Barbers a go.

I was long overdue for an eyebrow and face wax so I walked in and asked if they had time for an appointment, and they did. The lady was nice, and professional. They did a waxing and threading (for those tricky little buggers that don't wanna gtfo). It was my first time threading, but they do the waxing first so the threading part isn't bad. Actually I preferred this to waxing and then tweezing (like I've had done at other salons). The threading seemed to be a lot more accurate. The appointment took 15 minutes maybe, and after I didn't look like a Yeti (not that it helped my GNIB photo..that just looks awful). The price was about €25, which seemed really reasonable to me. I only got the waxing done, but I was quite happy and would come back again, maybe try for a haircut, another time.
