My son really opened up that year and even began forming friendships outside of the improv class during his senior year at school. There are very few programs like this in Atlanta, and I recommend it to anyone who would like to see their autistic family member learn how to make social connections.

Shenanigans is an incredible program for children, teens, and adults with special needs,…read moreparticularly Aspergers and Autistic spectrum disorders. It integrates improv theatre, games, role-playing, and more. The woman who founded and directs this organization was inspired by her grandson, a teen with Aspergers; after failing to find the services she envisioned for him, she created them herself. My young adult brother, on the Autistic spectrum, has been regularly attending Shenanigans improv classes for over a year and has blossomed as a result. Friendships have always been difficult for him, but he now has many through his peers at Shenanigans, who relate with and understand him. The classes--in addition to being hilarious, fun, and the highlight of his week--have greatly strengthened his social skills, ability to listen and respond in turn, and his ability to understand and relate with others through emotion, nuance, and non-verbal cues. Traditionally, these are challenges for people on the spectrum, and I can't say enough how happy and grateful I am for the advances my brother continues to make through Shenanigans. They offer several locations around the metro Atlanta area, as well as different age groups and skill levels. The summer camps offer more intensive areas of concentration, and the organization has also partnered with some local schools to provide services. Very highly recommended.

Wesley and his staff were awesome, kind, and accommodating. They were so professional and gracious. The bus was phenomenal! Our participants enjoyed it so much. It had something for everyone. Outside 4 or more the adults and kids had options to play Wii bowling, golf, basketball, etc. Wesley provided a mic with a speaker when we needed to make announcements. We were so impressed with EGZ and all of the extra perks! This bus had everything. Mr. Wesley and EGZ will be our go-to for our upcoming events. She helped me understand the hair growing process. She informed me of things what to expect and things to come. Even though this was during one of the rough stages of my breast cancer she made me laugh and feel comfortable during the whole process. She answered all my questions. I am truly blessed to have met her in my life and I would recommend everybody to contact her. My wig and the care products were fantastic. I had so many compliments from various people that They thought my wig was real.

We spoke extensively on the phone over her process for curating the wig and then we set a consultation. She was quick to get us in as my mother was going to be starting chemotherapy soon, and we wanted to make sure that she had a wig when her hair would start to fall out. We were greeted at a lovely office and went through all different types of wig options and customizations. They even offer a very private session where you get your wig, and your head is shaved and you leave essentially the same way you came in... so you don't experience all your hair falling out in a dragged out process. We were all very emotional at the consultation and touched by the pitch. At the end of the consultation, weI were informed the wig would be around $5000. This would not include the class offered to learn how to care for the wig properly. That would be an additional fee. While my mom felt very encouraged and positive after her meeting, I was a tad skeptical. The sales pitch made it seem like the wigs were made, totally in-house, but in reality they were just basic wig samples, matched to the color needed, and then cut in office and colored to desired shade, highlights, etc. There was nothing custom essentially to the wig as complete measurements were not done. The price and the added items that weren't included did not sit well with me. While my Mom was ready to pull the trigger, I told her to hold off while I researched more and quickly---thankful she trusted in me. It was so important that my mom found the best quality. In doing my research, I found a wig 90% cheaper and got it custom styled and colored for less than $200. It was the same real hair that was going to be offered at this custom salon and it looked exactly like my Moms natural hair! I am saddened to think that people can be taken advantage of during difficult times in life , especially when they do not really have any knowledge of wigs. We knew, going into finding a custom real human hair wig that it would be expensive, but after stepping back from this consultation, we realized that the price point at this location was absolutely absurd. I encourage you to continue looking. I was left stewing after the consultation inside unbeknownst to my mother, because I knew that this place was totally taking advantage. The fees that were never mentioned, and the extra offers that are included in the price of their very expensive wigs is disgusting for the fact that it's just taking advantage of people. That fee does not even count towards the cost of the very much over priced "custom" wig.
