They scheduled an appointment with a speech pathologist, which surprised me because I have a long-lasting cough and congestion but no issues with speech. I met with Delin. She was professional, thorough and her easy-going and friendly manner put me at ease immediately. She performed a minimally invasive procedure with a probe in my throat which was uncomfortable, but she made it as fast, painless and efficient as possible, offering encouragement and support. I found her very thorough, and willing to listen to my symptoms and concerns and address them. Equally important, she was kind, understanding, sympathetic and personable. She asked questions and listened to my responses, seeking more information and deeper understanding. As I've started to age and accumulate more health conditions, I've seen more and more doctors and specialists, many of whom are dismissive, uncaring and even rude. My visit with Delin was one of the best, for the reasons above. Highly recommend. Thank you, Delin!

I ended up receiving a scratch test on my back as well as additional testing on my arms, and it confirmed that I am definitely allergic to several environmental triggers. Dr. Castro Wagner was extremely informative, taking the time to explain every step of the process clearly. Her team was equally impressive -- from the front desk staff to her assistant, Cathy, who helped make the two‑hour appointment efficient and comfortable. I also appreciated that they contacted my insurance during the appointment, and all services were confirmed as covered. Nothing felt rushed or disorganized; they truly handled everything seamlessly. I traveled to UConn Medical Center, saw the most prestigious group of physicians and had every invasive test known to man that could cause a cough such as mine. Finally, I found Dr. Sher. My family and I drove to Tampa, and yes, Dr. Sher was not the most approachable physician I have been seen by, but he was interested ONLY in the cough. The staff was a bit rude, but he was right on the money. Although he is abrupt at times, he knows his stuff and for me, that is what I needed in my doctor. My cough after taking the prescription he gave which unbeknownst to him was not readily available down in S. Florida is working. Everyone seems really happy (perhaps due to the 2.5 hr mid day siesta each day). I've been quite touched by how good the doctors are with kids and how they have made the office very kid-centric. For instance, the exam room cabinets are covered with drawings made by kids during their visits. They keep them so that next visit, the kid can find their drawing (I'm not crying, you're crying). Cons- the hours. Open around 5.5 hrs/day during the week (with a mid day closure from 11:30-2) and 2.5 hrs on Saturday. While I respect the idea of work life balance in theory (and when it applies to me, of course), I don't love it when other people's work/life balance inconveniences me! Something I am working on!
