This new Dr threw me out of her office would not renew any of my regular daily medicines. She refused to put the referral through to the Neurologist, which I already have an appointment with. She told me she has no record of my medical records, Even though they referred me to the Neurologist last year. She told me I just have to live with my conditions. I called Humana. They told me to put through a grievance. I can't see My new pcp until May until 1 and that the family doctors has got to put through the Neurologist referral Because they're still my primary Until May 1. My Neurologist appointment is May 6. The doctor called me back and told me she is sending me a letter where she is dropping me from Famuly Doctors Because "I need to just live with my conditions." Same woman who said that she has no information or any of my medical records, but yet is telling me to just live with my conditions. I actually have metal that is free floating in my back up against a spinal cyst that I Need to see Neurologist for. She has all my MRIs, CT scans specialist visits hospital visit, In all roads lead to seeing a Neurologist. I don't know what is wrong with this woman!! She yelled at me, kicked me out out of her office refuses I to put through a referral and then called me today to tell me they're sending me a certified letter dropping me from their practice. AFTER, I've already switched Primary Care Phisycians through Humana To be seen on May 1. Something is seriously wrong with this woman to not give a chronically ill patient A referral when Specialist are telling me, I have to see the Neurologist. Do not go to this It is beyond insane. I have never been treated so horrendous in my entire life. Even her office staff was apologizing for her behavior. It's disgusting and she should be shut down. They didn't just shove antibiotics at me and rush me. They took the time to truly take what I had been experiencing into consideration and find the best alternatives for me. I would recommend this office especially Dr. De Leon. Ps the reviews saying they will only see you for one thing at a time are false. I was seen in one appointment for 3 various issues. It has been a year since Wellmed corporate dropped all it commercial insurance. I just want tell you some of experience since my last visit. 1st I began to request my complete file I had been a patient since 1989/ while the computer record want back to 2005. I submitted the request in June of 2024 for the complete records. ( I mean everything that was produced or recevied from other offices.) At first I was sent 2 months of files from Versima (they manage the record) I was give a run around no file found, donot have excess to those files, etc for months. I had to reach out to Wellmed corp,then optum and the United Healthcare Group ( parent company) it was close to 8 months before I or my new PCP recevied my files. And even some where missing still. When I contract corporate about it i fid not get an answer back at all 2nd the Wellmed office was to be available to use to ask question until January 1 2025. But they shut down the partial portal in September less then a month after the last visit. So we could not ask a question or look at the files or medication etc. 3rd the office and clinical staff was doing there best to help over 10,000 patient (only this location plus everyone from it countless office in Florida) transition to new doctor. It was Wellmed corporate that gave little notice that it was transiting ONLY TO MEDICARE PATIENT. The office manager was just bad! With short tempted and would not or was not able to explain is simple tream what was going on. 4th Wellmed Corp was worse never returned a call or email.

Every time I asked why the appointment was late I was told that the doctor had an emergency- every time. It is a lack of respect towards the patients & their time. By the time you are on your way out you waisted your entire day waiting. I wish I could say that ppl are pleasant and nice but everyone seems frustrated and tired. If you have a long term medical condition, like me, you will run out of your medication waiting if you don't change this group from your PCP. Also, if your child was assigned this group like mine was, they do not see patients under 18. It took this long to finally make an appointment, and now I have to call our insurance and change them from being my son's PCP. I highly do not recommend. There is a reason their social media pages don't have the option to leave a review. EDITED TO ADD: I called the owner after she responded to my google review with the following: "Please reach me personally 407-343-4700, and I would be happy to discuss the issue at your earliest convenience and clarify any questions regarding our new patients' policies and the definition of what an Internal Medicine physician entails. Dr. D was a godsend time and again. His office sent all records to a larger office with multiple doctors. Each time I went I got a different doctor and staff. Nobody knew us or my son's history. It sucked. Last year we moved to Orlando and luckily found our second "Dr. D". I prefer the independent offices as they get to know their patients. My son is now 16 and doesn't need a doctor as much. Dr. Dobbins has been great with my son and I am grateful.

Hunters Creek Pediatrics fit me in within a few days. We got to the office early to make sure paperwork was completed but they were out to lunch and closed till out appointment time. We went in as soon as they opened and waited for 20 minutes when I finally asked if something was wrong. The receptionist told me they didn't have our previous history from the other doctor yet. I wish I had asked sooner because I had copies of everything. (They probably wish I had asked sooner as well). Once we got in a room the wait wasn't to long. We saw the NP and she was really amazing. this was the most complete physical my kids have ever had done and I was actually happy that Florida made me do this all over again. They didn't short cut it knowing my kids had just done this. She checked everything, asked tons of questions and it was really a good visit. We were given referrals to specialists that my kids will need here and they filled out all of the forms Florida requires for kids to enter school. I have not been back to the office so this is based on one visit with healthy children but I was happy with the visit and thrilled with the level of care. I like the laid back atmosphere and can see that this is a calming factor for little ones. The office was professional in nature to parents.
