Unfortunately, they are awful with appointments and keeping time. I would not schedule and appointment with Nana Wise if you don't have at least an hour and a half of spare time- which is difficult during the work week. The past two times I have had an appointment, showed up on time (as they make clear while booking) and then proceeded to sit on a couch for 20+ minutes past my scheduled time. Last time I stuck it out and ended up having to leave before my cut could be finished. This time at the 20 minute mark I left and made the decision not to come back. Why? Don't make appointments if you can't honor them. My time is just as precious as yours and if I am rushing over here on my lunch hour and then not acknowledged and stuck sitting on a couch while you're on the phone and talking to friends or taking walk ins right before an appointment. And if you're going to be that late, maybe go up to your customer, explain to them why RIGHT WHEN THEY SHOW UP, and offer to reschedule. Not call them 30 minutes after their scheduled appointment then hang up and cancel their appointment on Booksy so they can't leave a review. This type of service is not representative of the highest cost in town. Check out Dipped in Gold, Cuts, or the Barbers Wife instead.

We did highlights and color that day and I loved it so much I booked my next appointment! I was greeted with the same friendliness and professionalism the second time around. This time we did highlights and a cut. I also booked her for the day of my brother's wedding (which I was in). She does amazing wedding hair! I received many compliments and I highly recommend her! Of course you can call in and talk to someone, but I was able to online, make my appointments in the middle of the night. Plus for me. At check in, I did have to stand at the counter for a little bit for someone to come up to me and welcome me. They were busy, I get it. My facial appointment started a few minutes late. From what I observed, she ran behind because she was aiding the prior client with picking out skin products. I wasn't upset, since that's good customer service. Once in my facial appointment, Sonya asked about my skin, my expectation, and we had a good conversation about my skin, my care routine, ect. Getting started, she used essential oils and started an aromatherapy for calming and relaxation. I had a dermaplaning, which was over all uneventful. My skin tolerated it very well I think. She did do a great job at explaining the process, benefits and the risks. I have some sad, dry skin. I try to take care of it, but I admit I am not doing a great job. She did do some manual exploitation, and then some moisturizing. A lot of moisturizing and massage. We were able to chat and visit about many things. Very comfortable environment. That was so relaxing, I actually felt intoxicated afterwards. My next appointments were a mani and pedi, both being with *will insert name when I find her card*. She was lovely. We were able to chat and visit, none of it feeling forced or awkward. She did a nice job both my pedi and mani. Very patient while I slowly decided on which colors I wanted for my nails. I even tried out an ombre glitter on two accent nails. I love them. So much pop for me. I decently plan on coming back, I had a great time.
