Any referral I've asked for, she has told me I need to figure that out with my insurance, myself. She breaks everything possible into multiple visits so that billing happens as much as possible. For my last appointment, I had a urinalysis that she admitted she never reviewed, even though it was a severe issue that needed immediate care. I had to make a new appointment a week later to review those results because I still wasn't feeling well. When I told her it was unacceptable that she never reviewed my results, she said "it's Monday" and "you're not my only patient", I said it's been a week and that's a terrible way to treat a patient. She back tracked immediately and said she did review my results and never followed up because she didn't need to. She then began being very condescending to me and even told me she doesn't need to mother me or check back in (and denied telling me to call her if I needed a medication change, as my infection was a tricky one to treat). I again, told her this is very condescending as I was just following exactly what she told me to do. She actually hung up on me during this telehealth video call. She is truly the only PCP that was available when I moved here and it is clear why. The office itself is so gross and creepy. She's cared a lot more about my outfits I wore to my appointments, than my family's colorful cancer history! This was my final straw after her lack of care for 2 years, so this is probably a blessing in disguise for me!

I was referred to Dr. Lalani by my insurance company. I moved from another state so I was hesitant and worried about finding a good doctor for my son and I. I first called to make sure they were accepting new patients and to see when their next new patient appointment was. The person I spoke to was very helpful and understanding of how and why I needed an appointment as soon as possible and was able to get me in within a few days which I was very grateful for, especially since other offices didn't have anything for weeks out. In the plaza that they're located in has plenty of parking. Spacious, clean waiting area and restroom. You are able to check in from your car online or you can walk in and sign in. The front desk coordinator was friendly and helpful upon checking in and checking out. I was taken in at my appointment time and barely waited. Dr. Lalani's bed side manner was friendly yet professional and informative. The nurses were also very great, answered all my questions before seeing the doctor. Thankfully this was a well visit but glad to know that if I do/when get sick I will be in good hands.

All this stemming from ONE panic attack that led to the inappropriate prescribing of these POISONS; not once did any of these lessen my symptoms, but rather worsened them and presented new ones which led to more drugs and new false diagnoses. And the worst, an attempted OD that left me hospitalized. But first: I was only on levothyroxine for years, and after ONE panic attack he had me STOP it for 4 days, then restart it at 50%, a drastic reduction after being stable for decades. He then gave me Xanax, mirtazapine, busparone all within 2 weeks and didn't stop there. He did not once appear to monitor the effectiveness and potential paradoxical effects, which we now know was the case: the drugs worsened the symptoms they were designed to treat. Both my husband and I both left his " practice" due to the aforementioned incompetence and unjustified arrogance of his refusal to refer me to an endocrinologist once another physician ( granted, a former anesthesiologist turned wellness MD) ordered blood labs that showed a high level of thyroid antibodies leading to a Dx of Hashimotos. (Aside: Kahane also declined my request for a referral to a dermatologist to remove my husband's skin tags, claiming he could do it... we were horrified when he proceeded to numb him with lidocaine and cut the 30+ of them with a scalpel, which by the way my husband felt, rather than cauterize them as we had anticipated. I went from living a HEALTHY and productive life as a physical therapist and athlete to being mostly bed bound and suffering from a myriad of major medical problems. Look up the dangers of not tapering these poisons, as well as lingering effects on the nervous system, BIND ( benzo. Induced neurologic dysfunction), kindling... find Dr. Josef on YouTube. Got more out of him from an hour video than sessions with this incompetent "doctor".

She also made sure to discuss every aspect of life with me that would affect my health; such as diet, stress, excercise, family history, and overall well being.
