Our server hector was extremely attentive and fast, as soon as our drinks were empty he appeared with refills immediately, even with almost every table full he was very efficient. (Thank you Hector!) The lemonade is amazing and so is the sweet tea Both of our dishes were still steaming and the cast iron was sizzling when brought to the table, as well as our tortillas coming out of the foil hot, fresh, and also steaming! and both dishes were absolutely delicious, we paid about $40 plus about $10 for a tip and I would say it is 110% worth the trip and the money. Along with so many menu options, I feel like there is something for everyone of every palate. very small yet nice restaurant, the decor and condition of the booths were very nice, there were also tables for seating, very clean and calm environment with music at a nice volume (enough to hear but not to override conversation volume). Very satisfied with this trip, thank you guys! read more

This little restaurant is a hole in the wall in Cherryville, NC, is wonderful. The music was amazing reminded me of Nicaragua worship music. My meal was spot on, I didn't expect it to be so delicious. The waiters were all waiting on us, our drinks were always filled. I would recommend this little place, they also have a food truck. read more

Yummy Mexican food joint! It hit the spot. The staff was super polite and helpful. My husband got the tilapia lunch special. He said it was great except that the piece of fish was pretty small. I had the quesadilla deluxe and it was just right. Delightfully crispy and cheesy. We enjoyed our visit! read more

Try the tacos a la brava extra spicy - my favorite dish in town! Friendly staff, fast service, fresh food. The guacamole is always fresh and tasty. I don't usually eat a lot of soup but their chicken soup has become a weekly favorite of mine. If you like extra spice ask for their habanero hot sauce. read more

Ordered the Large Black Bean soup to go and it was ALL broth and very little black bean and other ingredients. Also ordered grilled chicken Nachos Supreme and got home and it was beef and grilled Nacho Supreme, not what we ordered. I was very clear when I placed the order and not sure what happened. Check your to go order before you leave to make sure it right. Not sure we will be returning to this restaurant. read more

Great good Mexican food here. Small place be worth the wait. Staff are good and nice and the owner is a good man. We eat here about 3 times a month. read more

Taco salad was more like a taco soup. Wasn't able to eat all due to 3/8 of it was like soup, instead of a salad. Shredded chicken must have been floating in water to pressure it. So small you would know just how cold it was out side, gust of air blows in every time door opens up. read more

Found this place on yelp as we were passing through town. We were the only people in the place on a Saturday evening. The service was very awkward. The girl might have been very new though as she was unable to answer any of our questions about the menu. The music that was playing kept stopping as it was playing from someone's phone and they received at least three calls in the short time we were there. Food was okay. Nothing to write home about. read more

It's good. But honestly not memorable. But by far the best Mexican restaurant in Cville. We've eaten there a few times and I sure we will continue. I may need to try other menu items to get a more solid opinion. read more

Our family had pegged El Patron as our staple Mexican restaurant in Cherryville until we tried Manancial last week. The food is authentic and delicious. The Pollo Fundido is to die for. My kids loved it. The prices are so much better and the staff is great too. It's not my favorite restaurant. Highly recommended. read more

We eat here about once a week. I have never had a bad meal here. Nice and attentive wait staff, great nacho chicken fajitas enough to share an order. No complaints. Best choice in town for quick Mexican food! read more

Service was good. They were fast, efficient and friendly. The food was more Tex-Mex than true Mexican. It was flavorful for Tex-Mex but if you are wanting true Mexican, then you are going to be disappointed. We are still looking for a true Mexican restaurant in NC. On a letter grade, this was a C. I don't regret going but probably won't go back except for $1 Taco Tuesdays. Tacos were good, but it is hard to mess up tacos. read more

It is the best around the west Gaston County for Mexican food. There is no smoking and always a warm welcome.

Our family loves this Mexican restaurant! The owners are always nice and go out of their way for you. Great prices and great food!

The food quality is very good. We have ordered take out over ten times and always been pleased with the food. My only complaint is if you order multiple plates of food they only give one small salsa with one bag of chips. When I complained they said I'd have to place multiple orders to get more salsa and chips. Ridiculous! read more

BEST CHEESE DIP EVER!! My girls and I went through two orders. We drove from Gastonia to try this place and I'm glad we did. We'll definitely be coming back. Thanks! read more

This is a little hole in the wall place . The people that run it are super friendly the place is pretty clean wich is big for me the prices are good and they have good specials throughout the week . The food is OK except for I do not like the cheese they use wich as we all know is huge in Mexican food but the cheese has kind of a funky off taste to me and for me that ruins it food would be a lot better if they changed the cheese read more
