I was looking for a new account and was in the process of interviewing them. In this process I had email and phone communications and it became clear that Tracy would not be the right fit for me as an account. During this time she never performed any accounting services for me. I thought the experience with Tracy was over and I could move on to the new account I found who is wonderful. Unfortunately I received an invoice charging me hourly for the conversations we had. Tracy never talked about fees or charges during our communications so I was stunned to receive an invoice from her. So I reached out and said the same to which her response was she was going to send me to collections. As I said there were no communications during our conversations about an hourly rate or how she charged so I was stunned and let her know that if I was being forced to pay for conversations I never agreed to pay for I would be posting a review to let others know so they do not have the same experience.

What I have…read moreseen (as I keep computers, services, and security working for multiple firms is that John Woollacott Accounting has the highest client retention, the best value for $ spent of any accounting firm, and they primarily work by referral. The office is informal. The accountants are "laid back" in terms of personality, and they have a focus on extremely accurate tax preparation which is to say they maximize legally deductible expenses, but only to the point where red flags are not raised by the IRS. I highly recommend them, especially for small to medium business which is a specialty of theirs.

Friendly, personable staff that know us by name, and act proactively on our behalf. We had a fraud attempt on a business debit card, and were alerted within hours the same day. My wife and I were approved for loan with conditions like most. We got are approval paperwork on…read moreMonday. Signed all the esign documents the next day, and paid the 500.00 dollar deposit. Conveniently on Friday they said they could not go further in the process due to issues on my credit report ( charged off account that was paid in full prior) which they saw and new about prior to my approval with conditions.So basicly they denied me with the same information they approved me with. I then called Sara who is a supervisor. She claims she can't refund our money due to I cannot prove the underwriters saw or new about that information on my credit report that they had prior to my conditional approval . She then informed me that my 500.00 deposit was already spent. Wow, spent my money immediately after my 4 day aporoval. Also, guess who has not returned my calls after I sent an email with the proof they required. You guessed it, Northeast Bank.
