Pumpkin Curry
K S.

By far the best Thai food I have had in Utah. We have gotten taken out here 3 times in the past few weeks, it's seriously that good. I want to try other items on the menu, but the Pumpkin, Panang, and Pineapple curry is just that amazing! Full of flavors, stuffed with fresh ingredients, in large portions. Plus, you can customize the spiciness, and I recommend getting it spicy! Even the rice they serve has that extra level of care, super flagrant even on its own. Such a gem, I seriously recommend you try it.

Pad Thai

I got the Pad Thai and it was insane! We met the owner, Chino, and his sweet wife. He was so nice! The food was so good, and the food came so fast! We chatted with Chino for a bit, and he was so kind. Go support this business!!! Best Thai in SLC.

Just a few tables for dining in.

A terrific find in Millcreek! This family-run business is my new go-to Thai restaurant. Located just before the freeway round-about on ramp on 23rd East. The seating area is small with only a few tables, they seem to do most of their business as take-out. But, the service was quick, friendly and accommodating. We spoke with the owner for a bit and appreciate their work ethic and desire to produce quality food. Our standards for comparison are Masaman curry, pineapple fried rice, and pad Thai. Each one of these dishes was perfect. The curry sauce was mouth-watering, the fried rice was bountiful and filled with fresh ingredients (including cashews), and the pad Thai was not greasy or too sweet, just great! I love supporting a local small business and look forward to my next meal at Mana Thai. Maybe I'll even try something new! Support this great spot, you won't be disappointed.

The food was great and same with the service! They were extremely accommodating to food allergies. It was our first visit but we will be back soon!

Fresh Roll with shrimp

This is my first time eating in the restaurant but I've ordered take out twice before. I got the fresh roll with shrimp, it's filled with lots of lettuce and the peanut sauce was delicious. It was an okay roll. My main dish was the stir fried bok choy with beef and side of rice & egg. It was flavorful and I really liked the cucumbers with the beef. Service was good, food came out in a timely manner but it took awhile to get to go trays and the check.

I remember the first time I felt passion- like grown-up, step back, fan myself...passion. Passion…read moreis a good thing. For life, for love, and of course for food. If you have read any of my reviews, you know that I am a Thai food fanatic and I'm going to share a restaurant with you that I have a great passion for. When I travel through Salt Lake I actually schedule my flight so I can eat at Sara Thai Kitchen. Ohhhh mama. The Tom Yum is to die for. Deep flavor and just enough heat to make me get a good wave of heat from the tip of my toes to the top of my lip. Yup. And the presentation is lovely - a small chaffing dish with a fire under it so it's always bubbling hot. Also, do not pass up the lollipop chicken. It's my favorite starter- I have them box two and I eat one. The crab fried rice is Bkue fin crab- real deal. I swear they sprinkle some magic on it. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu- but be sure to finish off with mango sticky rice. It's the perfect ending to a perfect date. You can thank me later.

I ordered Pad Thai for takeout on the website for Sara Thai Kitchen. I'd never been there before…read morebut it was conveniently located on 2100 South and 600 East in Sugarhouse. I entered the restaurant and found it to be well lit and nicely decorated with plenty of tables. The staff greeted me and I picked up my order which was ready upon arrival. I drove 15 minutes to my destination and shared the dinner which was still hot, fresh and tasty. Next time I'll have to go in to try a meal onsite.

This review is for the food only, since we ordered take out…read more AMAZING Thai food! The restaurant is tiny, has a small counter where patrons can eat, and also tables outside. The food is masterfully prepared by a couple and the place is super clean. The food is truly amazing. I had the pad Thai with chicken and it was perfectly cooked, the perfect proportion of noodles to chicken and veggies. Since we ordered take out, the peanuts came separately, so they didn't get soggy until I ate. My husband ordered the chicken Thai fried rice and it was also delicious! A lot of chicken and veggies and seasoning was great. The mango sticky rice was fabulous! Mango was super fresh and sweet and served with the right amount of coconut milk. Highly recommend this place! Will be back when in SLC again!

Unfortunately I was careless with my plate and all the delicious sauce dripped out into the plastic bag that held the plate of food by the time I got back to work to eat it. Today I went back and made sure I was more careful with my plate and decided to eat at the few tables set up outside their storefront. I ordered the Khao Soi again. It tastes like a coconut milk based curry. Something about this curry is different. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's probably one of my favorite things to try if a Thai restaurant offers it. Slightly sweet and savory. The chicken thighs (2 thighs) were falling off the bone tender. On my last visit, I got beef and chicken. This time I got chicken only. It comes with green beans, rice, and a spring roll for a little over $12. Really great flavor. I killed my whole plate. The shop is very small. There is a small bar type table to dine in with 3 stools. Just the kitchen, a cooler with drinks, and a small standing area to order at. It's mostly an order to-go place. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

Very nice place, friendly staff and fantastic food…read more We came around 11:30 and it wasn't crowded. After being seated we received a nice small salad for starters, very fresh and tasty dressing. Ordered off the LUNCH menu and started with fresh spring rolls (our personal favorite), I ordered chicken Pad Thai and my husband ordered mixed veggie stir fry with chicken (without rice) and the BEST Thai ice tea anywhere!!! The shrimp spring rolls were HUGE, very fresh and excellent. Pad Thai was fresh and tasted so delicious. Took home half because the spring rolls were huge and so filling. The mixed veggie stir fry with a side of another salad instead of rice he said was terrific. If you have not been here you are missing a great meal, all for under $30!! Where can you find an excellent meal for that price and sit down with calm music to listen to..

I found the food at "Thai In Town" in Bountiful to be mediocre at best. In regards to "authentic…read moreThai", this place just definitely isn't it. I tried their Garlic and Pepper Stir-Fry (with steak), cream cheese wonton appetizer (comes with 6 total), and their Thai Iced Coffee. The Garlic and Pepper Stir-Fry comes with a fried egg which sadly was the whole highlight of the entree (the fried egg was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious). Sadly, the dinner entree was more of a lunch entree in regards to portion size, and came across more like beef stew down to the thick dressing. Though I requested the spiciest authentic Thai heat level, it definitely didn't have much spice other than a bunch of ground pepper strewn about. You do get your choice of either Jasmine White Rice or Brown Rice with the entree. I went with brown, and that was a huge mistake. Completely bland. Tasted like cardboard. No flavor, no aroma, no nothing! It was gross to say the least and got tossed immediately after one bite. The Cream Cheese Wonton appetizer was actually pretty good and well stuffed; though the included "Chili Sauce" appeared to be nothing more than oil, vinegar (definitely had a strong aroma of it), and a few chili flakes. Fortunately the wontons were flavorful enough and didn't really need much dressing. The Thai Iced Coffee was the smallest that I've ever received. Put it next to a 12 oz can, and as you can see in the photo, definitely much smaller than a 12 oz regular canned beverage. I also had requested "low/minimal" ice and it had a cupful of it. Overall was not super impressed with this restaurant but it also wasn't exactly the worst that I've ever tried or had. Would I try them again? Probably. Just not any time soon.
