From there we entered the restaurant and Billy found the love of his life. "Well I never!" he exclaimed before rushing over to Grimace and 'whipping it out' ;). Grimace let out a violent shriek of horror as Billy lunged at him and started 'getting freaky'. The guardian of McDonald's himself, Ronald McDonald then appeared from the bathroom and said, "You cannot smash until you answer my riddles three!" Billy then pulled out his WW2 era Danish Madsen 20mm artillery cannon from his pocket and swiftly proceeded to put at least fifteen rounds down on Ronald's position. Ronald McDonald was reduced to a pulp and Billy returned to 'getting freaky' with Grimace. The police then pulled up on Billy. Billy shouted, "I can't go back to jail again! I may enjoy dropping the soap but it was way too big!" Billy then threw a full rotisserie chicken dinner to the floor and disappeared into a puff of smoke. The choice is okay but doesnt really change apart from every so often they will be an offer on and some special edition burger will be brought out. This store is very big and split over two levels. Its usually very clean and tidy and there is always a cleaner wondering around ready to pick up any spills. The queues can sometimes get quite big but everyone knows macdonalds so thats what you expect really.

They do a good range of american style food which I have always found to be tasty and served hot. they also do an extensive range of cocktails which are fun to try but a tad expensive. you can sign up to their website and get sent vouchers for your birthday which help with the cost of the drinks but I think all francises of this nature charge a little more for the alcoholic drinks than pubs do. staff are always friendly and the toilets are always clean. I have a meal here once a month and have never been dissapointed with the food. the service does drop off a bit a busy times but that has to be expected. Overall I am happy to recommend.

This is a great place to stop if you are passing and need to recharge the batteries. I know Burger King isn't exactly sophisticated, but in my view it's better than McDonalds, and they do an absolutely delicious vegetarian burger! Yummy! On the downside, whenever I go to this branch I seem to have trouble finding a clean table, and clean chairs without crumbs. But I do like the food, and their cups of tea aren't too bad either, even though they do come in a cardboard cup!

I have to say the vegetarian burger is really nice, and approved by the Vegetarian Society. The only downside with this place is that they will only let you pay with cold hard cash. No credit cards. No debit cards. It comes as a shock, especially if you've just come from the cinema and used all your spare cash on the exorbitantly priced popcorn!

McDonald's restaurants are all pretty much the same everywhere, and there's no variation in food quality either. The children like the McFlurries, and I have to admit I think they're pretty good value at 99p each. The Happy Meals are also pretty good value and the children love the free toys they get with them. I'm a vegetarian so when I do get dragged along there I have to vege-burger and have to say it's like eating spicy cardboard! I guess it's just personal taste, but to me it was too spicy and too thin. I much prefer the vege-burger in Burger King!

There is a good range of burgers and chips, and children's meals. The restaurant has a great Drive Through, but at popular times waiting for food in the queue of traffic can be a lengthy process.
