I have been going here for seven years (minus covid) and have trained with Rachel. I am very comfortable here and I like the equipment because I am not a fan of machines - I like all the barbells, kettlebells, etc. Mostly, the people that use the gym understand how to move and share the space efficiently. The hardest part about vacationing this way is that there are no gyms out here. If one is found you have to make an appt. With trainers or sign up via an app and fill out and extensive waiver. I get that the waiver is needed but I'd wished it would be easier for outside vacationers to get a work out in at a nearby gym. The low star is not because of the place it's more that I was not able to use the gym due to it's on line process before walking in. See you next time read more

Love. This. Gym! I used the gym for two weeks while visiting. It has everything you need for a strength workout, is clean and organized, and in the rare cases where there were others in the gym, space or having to wait for anything was never an issue. What can I say about the Mammoth Strength Gym.... If you're looking for the full gym atmosphere.... Not here... here you have a down right kick ass facility!!! This is a gym that you go to to get your workout in... not BS... it's small by the standard of normal gyms... but they have all you need and it's extremely clean... there are cleaning whip's available for the use to sanitize what you've used... I was in town for work and needed a home away from home... well... I found it!!! The process of getting the membership was so easy... literally did it from this yelp link... clicked on the website and went from there... less than 20 mins later after confirming a couple emails and information... I had my key code and was there the very next morning... so simple... as soon as I found out I was headed back home I informed the owner and she stopped my next payment and I was not charged anything further... so the customer service was impeccable.... I'll definitely do a week pass if ever there for fun... without a doubt easily a 5 star! read more

Very private. Has all I need! It's convenient as it is located in mid town. Has parking and is always kept clean. Everyone is polite and positive. Most of the time I go in it's always just me. So definitely what I like Privacy to focus on my workouts and not busy gyms where you wait to use equipment. read more

Excellent facility and really well equipped. Plenty of oly bars, racks and plenty of space also. Rowers, assault bikes, kettlebells, wall balls, GHD, boxes, plenty of bands, rings, Oly platform - basically anything you could need to get a good session in. It's a bargain at $12 to use as a drop in. You receive an access code and you can drop in. Myself and my partner went twice during our one night stay in Mammoth lakes, evening time between 5:30 - 6 and there was only one other person, so pretty much had the place to our selves, same again the next morning (fri). Not sure what it may be like at busier times, but judging by the amount of equipment and space there should be no hassle. Really recommend stopping by if you are in need of a good gym. Just remember to keep the music down as it's in a residential area with neighbours around, there is also a Soundsystem to hook up your phone to (aux cable) read more

Loooove this little weight lifting gym! Designed for the trainee who is self motivated and familiar with barbell training but can easily access cardio equipment and free weights for those who aren't. I'm so glad we found this gym during our trip to Mammoth. It had everything my wife and I needed to keep up with our training while on vacation - squat racks, men's and women's barbells, plenty of plates, and bumpers for deadlifting (and lots of other stuff). Came out to Mammoth Lakes with some friends and family. Wanted to get a quick workout in before leaving and found Mammoth Strength Gym on Yelp. Great space to get a personal workout in. Easy to sign up and the price for a day pass is very affordable. The space is very clean and organized. Rubber plates, dumb bells, three racks, row machines and much more. There is no way I am leaving Mammoth in mid June without giving a shout out to the most awesome, convenient little strength gym ever. I came to Mammoth to participate in the half marathon, but by heart I'm a weightlifter and also into CrossFit as well (both. I have separate memberships. Don't group me into just one). Luck would have it I've been unable to lift much of the week because of life, and with the upcoming half marathon I was in need of some me time. While on a quick search on Yelp to find a local CrossFit to reset myself mentally for the half marathon, and this gym popped up. Twelve bucks for a day membership? Odds of a workout alone, full equipment as a normal weightlifting or CrossFit gym? High reviews? YES PLEASE. Signing up was super easy, super affordable, got my access code and the facility was obviously well taken care of and respected by the local weightlifting community. Thank you for existing. I got my workout in and highly recommend if you need a quick workout and know your way around weights, from power lifting to weight training to CrossFit.
