I got a dozen donuts for 9 dollars. They were so fresh and good. The lasy helping me was so nice and patient. Will be back!!

This little donut shop has been in the same location since I was in grade school. Whenever my church had a small "coffee n' donut" sale after services, the donuts always came from Mama's. A super nice family owns this place as long as I can remember and they always greet you when you come through the door. Their donuts, muffins, bagels, and other baked goods are made fresh daily. For such a small shop, it sure can hold a lot of customers (including cops, no surprise)! It was once rumored that Mama's Donuts had the best apple fritters in the Valley. Well the rumor is true: they do have the best apple fritters! They're big, flakey, and just plain yummy. Their cake donuts are moist and made my tummy quite happy. I don't always eat donuts but when I have a craving, most likely I'd come here. Donuts usually run 50 cents a piece. Larger donuts (apple fritters, bear claws, etc.) just a bit more. A nice little donut shop owned by a very friendly Asian family. Food: Been here a couple times since finding them on yelp, not the smartest thing but it's so good. Also, CRONUTS! Not really a big fan of them but its pretty good here. The cronuts I've had are the Cookies and Creme one and the maple with bacon one. C&C one is pretty good, wish they've added crushed oreos into the cream inside though. The maple bacon one is amazing, it's hard to go wrong with that combination. Okay price at about $5 each. As for donuts I've had the blueberry cake, apple fritter, glaze, and maple bar. All were good and fluffy every time I've been there, I'm assuming they get a good deal of business throughout the day so they are always turning out new donuts. Sometimes they through in a couple donut holes too but those are always not as fluffy. Service: Very friendly service, the family owners are always so friendly and greet you at the door. Sometimes they will through in a few items randomly and that's always a nice surprise. Also nice prices too, and the quality of donuts are well worth it. Can get crowded quick since it's a pretty small shop. Service is quick though so the lines are so bad, especially in the morning. Location: On the corner of Sherman Way and Balboa, in the same plaza as 7/11. Park is atrocious so good luck! The nightmare of parking is worth dealing with for the delicious donuts. read more

You can't go wrong here! The donuts are good, and they have a blueberry donut which is the best imo. But the cronuts are amazing!! So many different options. The workers are very friendly too. I always recommend this place to friends! read more

This place is the best doughnut shop in the valley. Service was quick. As soon as parked and got into the store they help me with my order and I was out of there in five minutes and off to work. OVER RATED!! Doughnuts were not fresh, on a Saturday morning. Their "gourmet " cronuts we purchased were stale. Seriously dunkin doughnuts have better doughnuts. I would say over half the pictures you see here on yelp were taking by the owner. It's nice to promote your place but when the owner has more pict than the customers something is wrong. I get it , they do themes and cater possibly. Maybe they should consider focusing on the doughnuts they sell everyday. Parking is awful.. not their fault. I asked if a certain doughnut had a filling the employee didn't know, asked someone else working... he doesn't even look at the doughnut I'm talking about... his back is turned and says yes. It wasn't a filled doughnut. I think he might of thought I asked if the doughnut was stale, that's why he said yes. Don't wait in line, don't waste your time. Plenty of other small doughnut shops to support. With better customer service. Better quality. read more

Absolutely love this place! I love just two blocks away so I stop in there to get coffee and breakfast A LOT. Ham and cheese croissants and delicious! Coffee is delicious! I haven't tried many donuts, but they all look amazing! The staff here is super nice, and very on top of it, even in a rush. I used to go to starbucks in the mornings on my way to work, but the wait here is much much shorter. And the food is tastier, in my opinions. Thanks guys for being so awesome! read more

The plain donut is good, sweet, underdone crust on this batch. The Maple- good crust, maple flavor is okay- it had more bite than maple flavor. Double chocolate frosted cake- their crown jewel. The subtlety of the chocolate with the intense boost of chocolate frosting makes this one of the better double chocolates I've ever had. Buttermilk- the buttermilk flavor is very distinct and stands front and center letting you know that this is no ordinary donut. "I am buttermilk!" Yeast- soft, melty-in-your-mouth-ish. Overall, glazes not light, frosting intense in flavor, crusts are on the lighter side, making them light on the grease (by donut standards.) I likey. Supplemental- the croisant. Not bad. I'm not an expert, but it passes muster, though I could go for a little more grease, that's just me =) read more

Here are the donuts I got: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cronut- This was actually pretty good, esp considering I don't really like Cronuts. The cream in the middle isn't too sweet, which was a + Apple claw- this was pretty good, looks like 4 fat fingers. I do think the apple inside could be less sweet. Cream donut holes- was okay, wish it was more fluffier. The lady working was very nice, she threw in two extra mini crossiants and extra donut hole. I would defiantly come back here. read more

Ever since we discovered this place, we've been hooked on their regular glazed cronuts. We've been back several times and the regular glazed cronuts are always great. We've gotten the red velvet cronut which had a filling. It isn't as good as the regular glazed cronut but is still pretty good. Since apple fritters are my weakness, I got it again. This time, it was perfect, exactly what I wanted from an apple fritter, crispy sweet exterior with a soft apple filled interior. In addition, I recently tried the glazed cake donut which was also pretty good. It wasn't as good as Primo's glazed buttermilk bar which is probably the best example of a cake donut (especially when it's fresh and warm), but it's pretty good especially since Primo's is a bit of a drive. But what makes this place great is that every single time we've been there, the people are always so friendly. This really is what your neighborhood donut place should be, a great mom and pop store that is friendly and makes a great product. read more

There's a lot of donut places throughout the valley and most of the them are disappointing at best and bland circles of carby dough at worst. This luckily is not one of them. I went to mom's on a busy Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised at the choices and quality of the donuts. They have tried and true classics and even some more trendy things like cronuts and some decent sandwiches. While not the best donuts I have ever had the experience was very good. Also not the best but far better than most places in the valley. I had a blueberry cronut, glazed, chocolate and a lox bagel all of which tasted flavorful and had great consistency and texture. The bagel though might not satisfy say a die hard New Yorker, but for a late breakfast meal it's not bad. I would try this place out if you are looking to get a donut fix in the valley. read more

The Legendary Cronut. I feel like that one single item is what makes this good donut shop, a great donut shop. The Good Things to Note Very friendly people. I think i'm run in here 4 or 5 mornings by now and they always have enough people to help you and everybody is in a good friendly mood. Small thing like that makes a big difference in jump starting the rest of my day. Great Prices. I think I get a dozen donuts for around $10 i think ? The Best thing on the menu is their specialty Cronuts which are deep fried Crossants glazed and topped off like a Donut. There are entire articles written about this delicious concoction so I won't go into detail but if you have never tried one. Do it. If you are feeling brave like I was, get the Bacon covered Cronut. Something magically about the salty flavor of bacon and sweet glaze mixed together. The Bad Their Regular donuts aren't really anything too crazy. I feel like Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Creme might have them beat in that category but they are still good donuts. Overall a good place to come in and grab a sweet breakfast from a friendly mom and pop kind of place. read more

This place is getting better . unfortunately I would of only given 3 1/2 stars today because my latte tasted like they poured the whole bottle of the caramel syrup in my coffee however rocky road / taro cronuts and the #6 breakfast croissants were a hit with martin g and my mom...so that was a half star more. I know they're known for their cronuts and donuts. I bought their last 4 cronuts for a friend's birthday treat. They were the fruity pebbles, red velvet, and blueberry. They looked amazing, but sadly I don't get them for me. However, the extremely welcoming worker put in 3 custard filled, delicate sugar dusted donuts in the bag for me. As I was purchasing the last of the cronuts she informed me I could call ahead of the time and they would save some for me! And another bonus, they take credit cards here! Before I walked out the door, I saw an almost empty display of cookies. I'm a sucker for chocolate chip cookies, so I decided to buy just one. I thanked the woman and went to my car. I drove off with a sugar dusted donut shoved in my mouth. Flavors on point! Super soft, and the custard oh god, divine! So I grabbed my cookie, that was gone before I was a block away. I'm not one to stop and savor each bite, I just ate it. Next thing I knew it was all gone. So I'm definitely coming back for their cronuts and I will write another review based solely on those. read more

I tried this place for the first time this morning and the donuts are AMAZING, theres a donut shop a little closer to my house but I will def be going to this place now. The donuts were moist and so flavorful, I got a crumb glazed donut ( the best ever) chocolate icing donut, my bf got a sprinkle and a sugar donut n said they were good Best of all , all this plus chocolate milk for $5 ! Family owned gem near my house that serves awesome donuts, cronuts, and coffee! The dozen was about $10 and each specialty donut/cronut was about $4-5, totally worth it! The basics never fail, glazed, chocolate, blueberry, red velvet all super good! The rocky road, red velvet, and Oreo cronuts are amazing! They are filled with a yummy vanilla custard and the texture of the cronuts is flaky and soft. The basic coffee is also pretty good! All around awesome spot! read more

I love their French curlers! I usually just get a dozen of assorted with some extra French curlers. All of their donuts are the perfect amount of sweet! They don't taste oily or cakey. Their donuts are light and fluffy! After eating 3 French curlers, I still contemplate having another. They're that good! I can't have that many from just any donut shop. These don't make me feel heavy and bloated. I bring a box of these to work occasionally and everyone loves them, especially the French curlers! LOVE this place for sandwiches, bobas, and the smoothies! Not a fan of donuts but they look good! I haven't found any other place in this area that makes boba just the way I like it and it's not to far from my work which is perfect! Delicious donuts. Delicious subs/sandwiches. DOUBLE WHAMMY! My favorites are the blueberry cake donut and the sticky bun pecan cronut (not sure if that's what it's called, but you get the gist...) The subs are pretty big but you can get the sandwich on a croissant for a smaller sandwich. Either way... yummm. Great place for donuts, but don't discount the sandwiches! read more

Best donuts hands down. My boyfriend and I love this spot so much we even wake up sometimes at 4am for fresh donuts. I'm a classic donut kind of girl...my favorites being the glazed donut and raspberry horns. My boyfriend loves their cronuts.
