What a beautiful rustic theatre. I'm a Queens girl so I wasn't use to going out of NYC to go to the movies. This theatre actually reminded me of Cinemart Cinemas in Forest Hills Queens, vintage feel to it but with better renovations and a lot bigger! I loved the customer service, they served beer and wine which is a plus! Their cashiers were kind and helpful. The bathroom was super clean and there were signs everywhere so it wasnt hard to get lost if you've never been there before. The inside of it kinda reThe seats wow! The best reclined seats I've ever sat in my life! They felt better than the seats in an IPIC theatre! The sound and the 4k screen was also great to watch and hear. Pretty area especially when you're a city girl and you see a river behind the movie theatre you're going to lol! I can't wait to go back and actually walk down the strip and enjoy the area.

I only bring that up because having the "Triple Play" allowed us to get discounted movie tickets and one of the participating movie theaters was a small Clearview Cinema, located in Mamaroneck. The village, itself, is a cute little area. I like to park mid-way of the main street because I enjoy walking past the little shops that dot the sidewalks. Most of these places are small businesses and I love that about these Westchester villages that seem to thrive when everywhere else, conglomerates are taking over the world. Aside from the movie theater, we would visit a lot of the restaurants nearby. There's more of a variety than one might think, being that the village is located a considerable distance from the city. There is a plethora of cuisines to choose from, whether you're craving French, Italian, Mexican or Japanese. Unfortunately, the cinema has since closed down and we switched cable providers so, we hadn't been back in a while. When we came back recently so I could gorge myself in everything raw bar, I was reminded of the days we would spend in the area. We've always had good experiences at the restaurants, Le Provencal being one of my favourites; an intimate bi-level French restaurant with very good food and a notable wine list. A new fave is Northeast Oyster Company; newly opened, serving some of the freshest raw bar I've ever had the pleasure of slurping. Rani Mahal for Indian will not disappoint. The weather is warmer and I will make a better effort to visit the areas of Westchester that have come to warm my heart. Hi. I'm a l'il sappy from time to time. Wink.

Who isn't on their phone these days? Even adults are constantly on their phones. This policy is ridiculous and completely unfair. These are just kids who were excited for a fun movie night, and instead they were humiliated and treated terribly. When I asked for a refund, they flat-out refused. Taking people's money and then kicking them out without any resolution is unacceptable and speaks volumes about how this business treats its customers. To make things even worse, the popcorn was cold, stale, and clearly not fresh. The staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from start to finish. Overall, this was a horrible experience. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values its customers

I wish the chairs reclined, but that was my only issue. I actually fell asleep in the movie and thought I slept my way into another showing! (I didn't) Would definitely return, especially to try the concessions.

Apon arriving I will say the parking garage is soooo damn confusing so make sure your paying attention to where you park and which elevators you take. When we finally made it to the theater, we were surprised to see how empty it was for a Friday night at 6pm. Not complaining at all just to make note seems that's the perfect showtime. When you enter you are greeted by staff who proceed to explain to you the newest form of technology to order your snacks from the concession stand. It almost felt redundant to introduce a new way of purchasing items to not interact with a human and yet, the staff helped us throughout the whole way. There is a wall of all the snacks printed with a barcode which you take with you and then proceed to scan in order to pay. For our movie we opted for the chicken sandwich (that comes with fries) and of course a slushy drink. I did see that the popcorn was self serve so next time I will definitely indulge. There were soooo many flavors of slushies instead of the basic coke, blueberry raspberry and cherry! When we entered the theater for ScreenX it was one of the biggest theaters I've ever been too! I liked how they seemed to have the rows separated for minimal disturbances. I will say though the ScreenX is definitely gimmicky. Throughout the movie some scenes were not ScreenX adapted I presume because it did not take up all the screens. But it was VERY loud. Almost too loud that I found myself covering my ears at times because it was way too much. As for the food this was the best theater food I have ever had. The chicken was nice and crunchy and hot! And the chicken didn't have those weird fatty/mystery pieces theater chicken usually has.

Great little independent theater in a cute little town!…read more I saw "Anora" here yesterday (highly recommended BTW) in the smaller theater, which has ~12 seats and all of the chairs are huge, super comfy private theater-style seats. They show smaller, Indie films in this room usually. About as close to a private screening as you can get. There's also a much bigger, more conventional theater which shows blockbuster movies that most go to see. While my go-tos in Westchester are Alamo Drafthouse and Jacob Burns Film Center, the Pelham Picture House is a place that is deep in the archives of my mind, having been there a few times when I was younger. I was off the other day and figured I would catch a movie, and since they were playing one I was meaning to see, I made my way over. Pelham Picture House is located in the main commercial hub of the town, among a number of other businesses. I remember coming here a couple of times when I was younger - I believe I saw Casper here during its initial theatrical run. I really love the exterior - it has a retro feel and the neon signage was the cherry on top. The box office is located right before you enter and they have a concession stand immediately to your left after you entering. There are technically two screens in this theater, though I feel they may have added the second one later on. The main theater is large, almost auditorium like with many seats. The second theater is off to the side - it kind of looks like a room that was used for something else at first - the screen is one of those roll-down projector types, and the seats look like ones you wound find in a home theater. I was in the latter theater (called the Screening Room) - it was comfortable but not what I was expecting. The theater as a whole provided a comfortable experience, but it can definitely use some love - a lot of the fixtures and aesthetics are old and worn. I could see where some renovations were done but a lot of it can use some sprucing up. Hopefully as time goes on we will see more improvements to the space, I feel it's really important to have local theaters that show independent and art house films. Customers service was great, and overall I had a good experience rediscovering Pelham Picture House. I would have no qualms returning, and would in fact seek it out if they're showing a film I want to see. It's really great to see theaters like this still standing in Westchester.

My friend ordered 2 waters and a soda for each of us as well as truffle parm popcorn for me and fried pickles and she tried the honey thyme wings. We received one water and asked for another which we didn't receive until 10 minutes before the movie ended. The sodas were fine and the food came out fine. I asked for a refill of my popcorn which I had to keep pushing the button since it was taking awhile. I was brought plain which I barely ate and after the movie approached the wait staff who fixed it and added seasoning and packed it up in a box for me. It was quiet as usual despite it being a kids movie but there were kids running down the aisle of the theater but that was the inly disruption. I love that the Alamo has strict rules.

Finally got an excuse with the Super Mario brothers movie to come by. 'Cool' is the word when it comes for what they're going for with Alamo. It's located in the back of a shopping center with ample parking, however the decor is very nice inside. They had a headless horseman figure, a well designed lobby, clean bathrooms, and a few games for the kids. Also had a Super Mario poster kids could take pics in front of. Bar looked great too. They like their retro vibes, and the old school Mario cartoons/shows before the movie was a nice touch; saw some Godzilla stuff I might come back for too. Food was easy to order from your seat. Why only 3 stars? Service was very uneven. My food and my son's food came out immediately, however my wife's food (and a side of sauce for me) took 20min. I flagged this multiple times in the app without acknowledgement, so eventually grabbed someone only to get a boilerplate answer of 'we're working on everyone's food'. Luckily her food came independently right after, but she was starving so not a great experience. My food was cold when it came, however the boneless chicken wings were very good. Still sucked for her. My beer was also flat when it arrived, however I do t expect the world there when it comes to a theater (although if they poured it with more head it might've been fine). Lastly, my chair's back didn't recline much, which prevented me from the nap I planned to take during this movie. Could've been worse, however also could've been better. I am open to going Alamo 1 more shot, however might be just for me and friends versus a family. They really need to work on the operational back end here, as the place is cool as hell and I'd love to be a regular if they had things together.

We have not been to this theater in years even though we see it each time we go to BJ's. Grateful it was open even after the major storm yesterday. Yes the theater was empty so that was nice for us. Hubby bought a bucket of popcorn because he loves movie theater popcorn. We usually "share" but it was way too salty for me. I know I have less tolerance for salt than most but I still thought it was too much salt, even for the average person. We had tickets to the IMAX 3D, we have not seen a 3D movie in a while and truth be told, the movie we saw wasn't elevated because of the 3D, I would not have been happy if I had paid for that upgrade. I guess that is more of a review on the movie than the theater. The one complaint I do have is that apparently the IMAX theaters do not have reclining seats. Instead, the seats rock back-and-forth unless you are in the last row of the bottom section which leans against the rail, then it doesn't move at all. The seats did look new, which was nice since we were used to going to the theaters at the Broadway mall before they shut down. I guess that's why they never invested in upkeep of the seats. All in all, I gave four stars because they were open on a day where everyone else had a snow day, the theater was clean, and the seats felt new. Hubby and I may have to start coming here now, especially since the theater at the Broadway mall is now closed. Just wish the popcorn was less salty...
