She has taken all three of my babies' newborn photos (and countless other family photos that we treasure). I look at her work daily - it is all over my house! - and I smile every time. The photos she has taken for my family will always be on display - they are incredible! Elle is absolutely amazing with newborns - gentle and caring - a complete baby whisperer - and she also has the vision to create truly magical and one-of-a-kind photos that you will treasure for a lifetime. When we first met, she was helping welcome my twin girls home from the NICU by capturing their first at-home moments together. When we had a third baby girl, she handmade beautiful wreaths for my toddler twins to wear in their hair in photos with their new baby sister. It really comes through how much she loves her work and what a gift it is to her. I cannot say enough about Elle and Ella Bella Photography!

For maternity - she has gorgeous backdrops and a collection of over 100 gowns to borrow from. You choose 3 backdrops and dresses in advance - all the options are displayed on her website. For newborn - you send her a couple examples that you like, and general color preference, and she had multiple sets, props, and outfits ready when you arrive. I was NOT looking forward to a big excursion less than 2 weeks postpartum, but she was so fast and skilled that the baby never woke up, even with multiple outfit changes. It was painless, and dad and I got to relax while she worked. Both sets of photos are totally gorgeous. I can see why she's the top result when googling maternity or newborn photos in SA.

I believe Sarah Brooke Photography to be one of those. I know what you must be thinking, "who does this chick think she is"?! Well, I like to think I can tell a good photo from a bad one (I know mine are not that hot--but Sarah's are!). What I find refreshing about Sarah Brooke Photography is that she doesn't seem to use a lot of PhotoShop filters to produce an "effect". She offers clean, straight forward, well-composed photos. Images are not white washed from over exposure or treatments to clean them-up. Keep in mind she will make touch ups if necessary. But as with anything, if they are done right the first time there is rarely need for edits. Sarah Brooke Photography is a great find with a very reasonable price. PLUS, she does all kinds of occasions (i.e. events, portraits, commercial images, food, you name it). Okay, okay, so, I guess you can tell I'm a fan. Whoo-hoo! ;) I like her photography so much I've used her for personal AND business occasions. What this review boils down to is, look no further if you are seeking polished quality photography for virtually any need. You'll most likely find what you need with Sarah Brooke Photography.
