After reading a few online blogs, we decided to try Crusty's for their burgers and sandwiches. They offer a fully halal menu. They were a bit out of the way from the main tourist sights in Montreal but we thought it was worth a shot. They ended up running out of burgers, so we ended up trying some of their other sandwiches. Overall, the portions and flavors were decent, and nothing too impressive. The ambiance was the highlight of the visit. The burgers seem to be the real selling point, so it may be worth revisiting.

Nikos gives Greek styled fast food and I've enjoyed their slightly greasy pizza that was very enjoyable to eat. This time I ordered a pork gyro pita and onion rings. The pork gyro pita was stuffed with tzatziki and quite yummy. Their onion rings were PERFECT. The right amount of crispy on the outside but soft and flavourful on the inside. Nikos does service right as well, family run and they care about the product they deliver. They had a small patio outside and they brought our food. Very friendly service. Price tag is very reasonable. All in all, a place I'll visit again in the future and order from during the winter months. #Hiddengem

The Rail is their casual eatery and it does a great job serving up Stateside comfort foods. We're talking burgers, salads, pastas and pizzas that are definitely a step up from most card room faire. Easy fan of their "crunchy jack burger" piled high with crispy fried onions, chipotle mayo and maple BBQ sauce. Also the simple chili. Looks like it came from a can but definitely doesn't taste like it. Pizzas are all wood fired. Chewy, puffy crust. Order by the menu or customize as much as you like. Ingredients might not be the highest quality but it's still hand crafted and better than any premade processed pie. Create your own pasta, OK. Satisfying since its made for your mood. Tortellini with spicy arabiatta, mushrooms and spicy Italian sausage somehow matches the energy at the tables. All beat the quality of a certain Olive chain.
