They charge a flat $150 to 'diagnose your issue' and only compensate it back to you, if you have them do the work, right then and there. I didn't have them do it. So i decided to drive my broken car home instead, HOWEVER, my key decided to break in half when I tried to turn on my car. I found myself stranded here for a long time, the owner and his colleagues were super helpful. My car was blocking the area where they receive their fuel and I managed to prevent them from getting a shipment in for the day. I am surprised they didn't kill me, never-mind help me. So, heres to you Milford CT mobil station! Thank you for ignoring the fact I cried in front of your convenience store and my car leaked a full bottle of power steering fluid all over your clean pavement.

Subtle work suggestions printed on reverse of invoice listed according to severity or need to replace without any pressure. -Dealer, who always serviced my Acura TLX always gave a verbal estimate of what needed to be done next delivered with a print out of red stop signs. This was delivered in an ominous tone & they were unwilling to prioritize all of the work needing to be done. "You might as well do it while you're here...we're pretty booked because of (choose any reason)" Lots of doom & gloom. Car has less than 50k miles... -Greeter/cashier was extremely friendly and explained things well. Promised the job would take about an hour, but I paid & was out the door in 45 minutes. Similar service last month at the dealer's took 1.5+ hours... I was looking to establish a relationship with a garage that was close by, trustworthy, pleasant to deal with and who did good work. This type of kindness really went a long way for me. I won't hesitate to bring my car there for service because of the way he went out of his way for me and didn't have to. Outstanding, Honest Service!…read more I can't say enough good things about A-1 Complete Auto Care in Guilford! I recently brought my car to Town Fair Tire in Wallingford for a slow leak in my front passenger side tire. They told me there had been a plug that came out and the tire couldn't be repaired. Not only had I never had a plug in that tire, but they also insisted I needed a brand new tire--and even suggested replacing all four, despite my car only having 26,000 miles. Wanting a second opinion, I brought my car to A-1 Complete Auto Care. They quickly identified the real issue: a nail in the tire. They confirmed there had been no previous plug and were able to patch the leak with no problem. Their honesty, professionalism, and straightforward service completely blew me away. Instead of trying to upsell me on tires I didn't need, they provided a simple, effective, and affordable fix. I couldn't be more grateful--and A-1 has absolutely earned my trust and future business! Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, no-nonsense auto care.

I shipped my 2010 Ford Ranger XLT here because of it's high milage to avoid any possible breakdown on the 3,000+ mile drive here. One evening while filling her up, another patron was commenting on what beautiful shape my truck was in and I mentioned that I was looking to get it undercoated before winter set in, and he directed me to M&M Motors for that, as well as anything else I might need 'cause the shop is the best in the area. Long story short and after reading all the 5-star reviews on YELP! I went in and spoke to "Mack", one of the 2 owners about my pride and joy. That was about a year ago, and I have to say, that this shop is one of [if not] the very best all around mechanical repair shop i have ever had the pleasure of doing business with in the 65+ years I've been driving every sort of automobile you can imagine. Mack and his brother Mike, and their crew have fulfilled my every need and are just the best in every sense of the word when it comes to everything automotive . . . I DO NOT EXAGERATE ! ! ! And, as a matter of fact, They also operate a totally legitimate used car business across the street from the repair shop, catering to the general public and their own clientele. There is not enough room on this YELP page to even begin to describe what these people can and will do to effect any repair you need, or find the automobile of your dreams. They conduct their business, and themselves by what I call the "3-R"s . . . Reliable, Responsible, and Reasonable!!! P.S. This year I purchased an absolutely beautiful 2020 Volvo XC60 SUV for my wife from M&M Motors. (Which she loves.) We couldn't be happier.
