We are on automatic delivery, and they always make certain to fill the tank prior to it getting too low. Whenever we've had problems with our equipment they are quick to schedule an appointment to come and take a look at it. I would highly recommend them to anybody who's either switching over to a new company, or just new to the area.

It's helped me out on a couple of occasions when I needed gas in these parts, and for this reason I appreciate it being here for sure. I stopped going for a bit after the muffler stint, which I got fixed for $150 elsewhere. When I returned to get my last oil change they put the wrong filter in and didn't refill the oil! How the heck can a mechanic do that when they had all my info in the computer for my car! The oil light came on a day later, my engine could have seized from these idiots. I feel like it was in purpose for me not getting work done there, but maybe they're just idiots.

High labor rate may cost you when you're presented with final bill…read more My family, or I, over the past two decades, have brought several cars to be repaired by Superior'sbody shop, and we were always pleased with the results. However, our most recent repair experience was shockingly disappointing, and eye opening, to say the least. We used to trust Superior Auto when it was run by Tom, senior. Not any more. The business seems to be now run by Tom Junior, and their focus seems to be more on extracting as much money from a repair as they can get away with. We were given an initial estimate and was told by Tom that it could change, "once we get into opening things up --we may find things that will need to be covered under a supplemental claim that you can submit to your insurance carrier." The repair was to fix a four-foot long scratch on the passenger door. Little did we know that Superior's labor rate was significantly above the area's average labor rate. Without checking with us or the insurance company, Tom proceeded with repairs without getting our final approval and when the job was finished we were presented with a bill that was $2,000 over the original supplemental estimates by both parties. Our insurance company refused to pay the higher bill which was far above the supplemental estimate. The difference was due to Superior's high labor rate, which was about $40 over prevailing area rates, according to our insurance company. Refusing to negotiate a compromise,Tom gave us a a business card of an attorney that specializes in fighting insurance companies for these kinds of disputes. His take it or leave it attitude left us with no choice-- we needed our car back and paid the inflated bill out of pocket. A $6,000 bill to repair a scratch in the paint and to replace a door handle-- I shudder to think what an actual fender bender would cost with these guys. However ,the greatest disappointment was not being made aware of the discrepancy between the body shop and insurance company's estimates before the repair was initiated. We'll never go back to Superior Auto for any work. If you too too, bring your business to this shop be aware of this practice and run away if Tom tells you "We can submit a supplemental estimate..." unless your insurance company will cover his labor rate.

We…read morewere on our way from Boston area to Queens, NY and our tire was punctured by a big 'ole' nail. :( So we had to put the spare tire on. It was an undersized spare and knew it wouldn't be safe to complete our trip without it being repaired. Well... they stayed late to help us! They checked our tire and it turned out the puncture was so large, it could not be repaired. We didn't get it fixed, but they were very friendly and understanding of our predicament. They adjusted the air in the spare and advised us to drive 50 mph. Turns out there is something called the 50/50 rule, especially for a space-saver spare. It is recommended to not drive faster than 50 mph and for not much longer much than 50 miles. They were closing and didn't have to help us, but they did and with much kindness. Thanks especially to the first fellow that said "don't worry I will fix the tire if I can and put it back on for you", to the fellow that helped him, the fellow at the cash register and also to the other fellows that came by to gave their friendly advice. We ended up turning around and driving back home safely.
