I had always prefered the train to the bus when i have to catch a flight from Malpensa. Taxis are super expensive and they always want to rip you off and even Uber costs can be a bit high since the airport is far from the city.
But lately I have been using the Malpensa shuttle because train tickets have become more expensive (as of today, a round trip by train is 24€ while a round trip by Malpensa Shuttle is €16) and also because I have been traveling from Terminal 2 with Easyjet and I think the bus is better than the train when traveling to/from T2 since the train only arrives to T1 and you have to take a bus from there to T2.
Anyhow, these times I've used it, Malpensa Shuttle has been on time, the seats were comfortable enough and I could buy the tickets online in advance (paying with credit card), there's a bus leaving every 20 minutes almost always (late night and early morning every 40 I think) and they run on times when there are no trains. Couldn't figure out how to use the wi-fi that they advertise on the buses and staff could try to be less rude. The intermediate 'Fiera' stop between the station and the airport in my opinion is useless and wastes at least 10 minutes of travel time (which is around 50-60 minutes), of course those who live nearby might disagree. read more
