Quite nice and well set up station. Went to this station daily for commute to Copenhagen and other stops in Malmo. Small but well designed with nice old architecture building and well layout. Plenty and varied choices of foods, shops, bakeries, coffees, bars, restaurants and among others shops. Location wise is right nearby the waterfront and walking distance to downtown. read more

I was impressed by this train station the moment I got off the train. It had plenty of stores and food stalls with clear and intuitive signs. The gates were easy to find and get to easily even with luggage's. We went through here a few times - including transfer train here from Copenhagen to Stockholm - and it was quick/easily to find what we need (gates, food and rest rooms). It is conveniently located near the Malmö Castle, Lilla Torg, St. Peter's Church and the Malmö Saluhall. Excellent wayfinding and fairly good assortment of services. Sadly, the left luggage lockers had been disconnected which was a huge detriment to our daytrip in Malmö. The city has decidedly less charm when you must drag a carryon around when the advertised luggage storage proves to be false. read more

Taking the train from Malmo Central Station was a great experience. It's centrally located near a food hall and many tourist attractions. There's an old hall with blue tiles and beautiful decor. The modern hall is set up like a food hall. There's free wifi and plenty of benches. read more

Have passed through Malmo C a few times on the way to a restaurant, meeting or a City Center visit. A good sized Central Station with a nice variety of restaurants. They have a bike park & ride. Bus stops are right in front. Restaurants choices-Sliders & Shakes, Salads and Smoothies, Smorrebrod, Raw Food House, O'Leary's, Bistro, Gateaux (bakery) & Husman. Also, Sushi, Italian & Turkish spots. An Espresso House is in the corner of the food hall. Fast food restaurants are BK & Subway & there are a couple of mini marts & a small grocery store (Coop). So a decent amount of choices. Take the Bager Plats exit for a different route to the city center and to avoid the crowds. Bonus-to the left as you exit & reach the top of the stairs is the Knotted Gun statue. read more

I have been to Malmo Centralstation twice. I would say that I have barely spent fifteen minutes at this station in total. The first time was heading to Karlskrona. Stopping at Malmo was not scheduled. I needed to transfer onto a purple train at track 1b. The doors opened and I walked across the platform to a waiting train. Today, my train was supposed to be a direct one from Karlskrona to Copenhagen. However, it wasn't and our last stop was Malmo. I had an excellent train conductor who informed me about all the odd changes throughout the journey. He said that we were stopping at track 7 and that we needed track 1b. It was easy to find where I needed to go. I waited perhaps ten minutes at most. It's a clean station. Signs are nicely organized. There are images projected on the concrete walls for visual interest. I usually don't get to excited over train stations, but this one is better than most. Easy to use" central to all the key touristy spots in the city and free super fast public wifi is a nice welcome into Sweden. The food court offers plenty of delicious offerings. There is everything from local specialties, cheap fast food and even a Starbucks for those quirky Americans homesick for a familiar taste from home. The station is also located directly across the street from a very helpful tourist information desk and are more than happy to direct you the cities tourist spots. read more

Used Malmö Centralstation to get to and from Copenhagen (a short 15 miles away). Somewhat basic for a station, it had everything you would expect. I was able to check out some shops as well as grab a bite to eat (smörrebröd was delicious at Fred's), before heading out. The trains and timetables were easily viewed on the board near the entrance of the tracks. One thing that surprised me was having to pay to use the restroom. Not having cash on me, I had to scramble and purchase a few bottles of water just to be able to use my credit card. Quite silly, as the charge to use the restroom was under a dollar. Not sure if the charge is to keep a homeless population that I didn't see- out, or if it was to pay for the upkeep. Either way, it was an annoyance. Overall, the station was fine. If and when I'm back in Malmö, I will use it again. read more

Malmö C, one of the easiest public transportation stations to navigate, is located near the city center. It is streamlined with visible signs in English. There are buses and trains to connect you from point A to point B. With trains and buses running at least every 30 minutes to every 5 minutes (regional buses are the ones that take longer), public transport has never been easier to use. You can purchase tickets via their app, kiosks, or at the service center. You need a Jojo card. They do not take money on buses or trains. The bus hub is located at the front of the station. City buses are green and regional buses aren't. The regional buses have few to zero stops in the city and go further. If you aren't sure which bus goes where, there are transit maps in the station as well as at the hub. There are several food stalls as well as a mini market (Coop) to grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately, Starbucks is no longer available, but there is Espresso House. I favor the Salads and Smoothies stall as they are quick, super fresh, and prepare the best chicken caeser! If salad isn't your thing, Burger King is on the other side of the station. There is ample seating throughout. Malmö Central Station is one of the best! I just wish services ran 24/7. read more

Being in a foreign country and not knowing the language, Malmö Central Station is super easy to travel through. I was not familiar of anything in Malmö, where to stop for attractions or what part of the city to see, but this station is a good spot for a tourist since it's walking distance to the little town squares and shopping. I was coming from Copenhagen airport, and there are trains running frequently into Sweden (like every 20 minutes), and same thing goes from Malmö Central Station into Copenhagen, there are plenty of trains to go back. Tickets can be purchased at the kiosks, and it's easy to purchase since there are multiple languages available, and if you still have questions, the employees at the information booth are friendly and helpful. Entering and leaving Malmö, we didn't encounter any passport checks, but I would bring it anyway. During rush hour, the station can get packed with commuters running to get on a train. The station is kept up well, very clean, for the amount of foot traffic it gets, and there's also a food hall if you're in need of a bite or to rest up before your travels. read more

Malmo Central Station is the heart of the city. There are direct trains to all over Sweden, but also the lifeline into Copenhagen depart from here. There is a grocery store, lots of convenience stores, food options, currency exchange and showers. The best part of the station is having attendants walk around to answer any travel or tourist questions. It beats waiting in line at the information desk. The building is pretty and modern, so you will be pleased upon arrival. Look for the Knotted Gun outside. It is an anti-violence sculpture. read more

Beautiful train station! Very easy to get in and out being centrally located. And doesn't cost most to get to from Copenhagen. Inside you have a really pretty food court. It looks pretty enough to be a date spot. And they have train times everywhere so your not stuck in a crowded spot waiting for the next train. Very easy to get around! read more

Now that I have been here so many times, I noticed that there are so many new shops, along with pretty OK supermarket that you can get salad, yoghurt, wraps and sandwiches from and new eating places, this place's got to be a little better than Copenhagen central station when you ask bunch of hungry people. The station is well connected to the rest of Sweden with the SJ train, the Øresundstrain and the more local cute purple train pågåtåg (I love that word!). It's modern, with glassy buildings and has lots of natural lights in on a sunny day. There's also a bookshop (pocketshop) that I really like. I think all stations need to have bookshop (I'm looking at you, Copenhagen!), not just magazines to go. Bus platform is right outside with the green local buses and the yellow commuter buses. If you come here often from Copenhagen or just go around the city, do a favour and get your Jojo card from the Skånetrafiken office just next to the exit / entrance. It gives you 20% discount on your travel throughout Scania and Øresund train ticket as well if you use the Skånetrafikken machine to buy ticket. Overall, no complaints. read more

We had taken the train from Copenhagen to Copenhagen Airport and then from the airport to Malmo Centralstation and it was great. The interior of station is bustling with activity but seems much lower in key than CPH's station. We did exit out the wrong way, where the gravel is near the parking lot but it was easy enough to figure out the way out and onto the street. It was also easy enough on the way back from our tour, as well. read more

Newly renovated the station is now much more convenient. remarkable is the wooden roof over the platforms. A very good connection to CPH airport runs about every 20 min (day time). Best is to use ticket machines. Difficult are three taxis. Write often there are none in front of the station, mainly rush hours. read more

Nice functional train station. In the tunnels underneth they have banned commercial and put great art on the walls instead very interesting installations with moving images on the walls. read more
