The tub has marks in it that might have been caused by tools or could have been damaged after they installed it. The lights over the vanity have fallen out and damaged the vanity countertop. The toilet is not straight.

Still, we started complaining within months about how it was spongy and soft and how the edges were uneven. We were told it would cost more money to fix it. Later, the deck began to buckle so you could even trip on it. This time, he avoided our phone calls, would not come out to look at it despite setting up three appointments. We waited and waited, wasting our time. Again, I have left numerous phone calls on his voice mail, and he does not respond. He has a great guarantee process - he just waits for you to give up.

They did what they promised. The work was done well, the area was cleaned up, they checked to make sure I was satisfied. ZERO stars is the rating but I have to give 1 to get this to post…read more This company did work for my neighbor - they put in a new wall and re-landscaped that part of her yard next to the lake. The wall isn't what was quoted (looks nice but too short), they did a horrible job of seeding her back yard (they didn't - weeds everywhere) and they removed block from one area that was preventing erosion when we get hard rains. Now every time we get a hard rain part of her yard is eroding. And they have been less than responsive to fix this. Definitely would NOT recommend.

We took issue with the job immediately as this island top has a long crack in it. Approx 3' in length running on an angle from corner to middle. Mr Tim Husted the owner refused to to anything to remedy the situation declaring that this imperfection was a "fissure" which was natural to the stone and present when we selected it. It certainly was not present and is not a fissure - but a stress induced crack caused by poor cutting and fabrication on the part of Surface Expressions. Buyer beware.
