In a certified Sunday miracle, it barely clipped my gutter (which hung on!) and landed square in between our houses, roofs no worse for the wear. I still found myself feeling a bit uneasy with the tree so close though, so reached out on Yelp to Texas Tree Doctors to take a look. Nicholas responded immediately and was able to come out just a couple hours later. Nicholas is a wealth of knowledge and was kind to answer basically every question I had in my free consult. He offered some really practical remediation in the form of a nutrient treatment that would help get the tree healthier and more supple so it'd be less likely to break in the future. For hardly any extra he offered to haul away the big branch as well. He also ballparked a cost for removing the tree entirely - all quotes seemed really fair. Ultimately, the tree is on the other side of the property line so removal is up to my neighbor, but I appreciate how straightforward it was to get someone with Nicholas's experience to take a look. If we decide to give some love (or destruction) to the tree he'll be the first guy I call.

However, I was sold because of Jeff and Annette's personalities. They showed up on a Harley, patiently took a look around the backyard, investigates with the city for permits and gave us a bid that was the lowest. Once the contract was signed, Jeff always showed up early, clean and respectful about the neighbors property. It was fun to see him demolish stuff and watch the passion with which he drove those CAT machines. All in all, I am thrilled with the work they did and would hire them in a heartbeat.
