No stars, only 1 because it's needed. Watch your bills! Fraudulently balance billing their patients. Can't reach anyone to discuss and obviously don't know how to do their billing. Hubby got dumped onto a nurse practitioner who said, "you know" every 3rd-4th word. So distracting. Couldn't follow her train of thought. Quit seeing Dr. Malkas practice as they wouldn't let him see anyone but her. She may be good and knows her stuff, but we both were so irritated because we couldn't understand her. read more

Was only my second time seeing Dr Malka I'm a vestibular migraine sufferer and auto immune with numb burning hands that I cannot use . I get migraines that act as strokes and I was referred by my primary and rheumatologist to see a neurologist i had an mri done of brain and it showed white matter that is worsening since my hospital visit for a 3 hour mri . His nurse practioner who saw me on my second visit was more concerned with my husband who wasn't a patient than me also she told me go back to rheumatologist for the migraines . Which did not make sense I will not be returning g read more

I went to see Dr. Malka to get clearance to start driving again after an episode of encephalitis. The letter simply needs to state that I can resume driving. I went to see him a week ago and no letter. I was just informed that his office will be closing for the week due to the hurricane. It looks like I will be lucky to have the letter, which is one sentence, in 3 or 4 weeks after seeing him. In the meantime I have to take cabs to get where I am going. His nonfeasance is going to cost me a few hundred dollars. Clearly a procrastinator. Stay away if you need anything in a timely manner. read more

Never go to this dr! First off, the receptionist was rude to me and an older gentleman. She firmly told him twice to hurry up and fill out his paperwork, not asking and not nice. Mine, she failed to give me. The doctor did nothing to treat my headaches. I told him I have one all the time. He said ok, sent me up front. The girl asked me when I want to come back; 3 months or 6. I asked if he was going to treat me. She didn't know. Well, that was a few weeks ago. I called to find out. The girl never called me back. I still have a headache. I now have to find a new doctor. read more

I'm wondering if the one star reviewer entered under the wrong doctor? None of the names mentioned fit with who has been there for a long time. The office was clean, everyone friendly, and the PA took a long time with us. We had no wait. I don't know how our visit could have gone any better read more

From the very beginning my experience with Dr. Malka, Nurse Practitioner and the wonderful lady at the front desk who got me in within a week my experience was one of high level professional. I never expected I would be taken seriously but Dr. Malka questioned me having several epidurals into my spinal cord area and it changed attitude! I felt Dr. Malka cared, read my records and was comfortable with tests he ordered. I trust him and will continue treatment as needed with the Malka Institute read more

Please please please read this! If I could have left zero stars I would have. Do not see this doctor go out of your way to see someone else. This office is the most ridiculous place I have ever been. Take my advice I almost walked out. I should have after I read all of the bad reviews, but I stuck it out anyway it's horrible. Staff is horrible except for Kiersten who is new. I guess she doesn't know any better they don't want to help you, but if you owe them money, they definitely want to collect from you Never in my life have I ever been treated so badly by a doctor a nurse practitioner and a office staff. It blows my mind how busy this office is I hope I can find different places to post this to save people from going to this office and seeing this doctor avoid at all costs please if you don't wanna take my advice, you need to look online at the current nurse practitioner that he has employed look her up and read her six horrible reviews. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO HERE. I would give it zero stars if I could. I had an appointment scheduled for 1:50pm, didn't see ANYONE until 3pm. This happened on more than one occasion. Also, I was called within 1 hour of my scheduled time to come in early, because the assistant wanted to go home. Then, the receptionist didn't even know what time my appointment was at in the first place! As well, I had an appointment, which I took off work for, only to be cancelled on. AND, I was accused of cancelling appointments...I have a very, very strict work schedule and that is impossible. They also accused me of not updating my prescriptions, so, obviously, they were constantly losing important documents. You can hear everything that other patients are talking about while waiting, and the actual doctor is in maybe once a week, so you have to call a week ahead of time to get a script refilled. Finally, they only take cash or checks (probably due to the gigantic amount of credit chargebacks). It's unprofessional, dirty, and should be shut down. read more

I was given a questionnaire to fill out, and then we exchanged the form with a tablet to answer more health questions. My blood pressure was taken, and my iron count was taken. We walked into the donation area, where I sat in a donation chair, and the donation routine began to take my blood. After about 8-10 minutes, I was finished and got up and left the facility. The technician was friendly and was very good at inserting the donation needle into my arm. There was some informal conversation, and it was a very nice experience. I have been here many times before, and I will return when I can donate again. I've been donating blood since 1969 and feel I am giving life to people who need this to survive.
