I had a Mother's Day makeover a few years ago and to this day, I regret doing micro blading on my eyebrows with Mali Studio. My eyebrows look like they're tattooed instead of micro bladed. I spent a lot of money for a full day of treatment, including getting my lips tattooed and having my hair dyed which she over bleached. I felt the service was crappy. I was treated like a student at her salon instead of a customer. When I went home, my family said what happened to you? And I cried. I should've asked for all my money back, but I never wanted to go back! Every day I look in the mirror, I have ugly eyebrows. Do NOT get your eyebrows micro bladed here unless you want your eyebrows looking like they have been tattooed instead. And let me finish with saying she labels herself the "eyebrow goddess"? The price I was quoted initially did not match the final bill, and when I questioned it, I was given unsatisfactory excuses. Warning to not do your hair color here. Price was different than what we discussed on the phone. Mali claimed not to have heard me well even though I said hair color and trim of existing layers I had. Haircut was okay, nothing to spend $150 dollars over, but the worst part is the hair dye job which she charged me an additional $125 for. Absolutely terrible, it's super uneven. I went in with copper and asked for black. My ends are light brown and you can still see copper pieces throughout, while my roots are super black. They were very rough with my scalp and almost a week later it is still red and peeling in some parts of the front. I dyed it again myself and it turned out great. And they wanted to charge me $300 but I settled on $325 total. It was sooo bad, please do not get your hair done here. NEVER going back there again. read more

MIRACLE happened! That's a wonderful job from Mali's magic art, I'm speechless with this much different on my hair color, I had my JET BLACK hair straight for a two years when I was leaving out of USA and when I came to Mali's studio for consultation she refused to do any job on my hair on the first step. She believes she has to test my hair strength and then she could say it's possible or not, finally after 24 hours she called me and said she'll do the job but it will be take 5 sessions to finish the process. Mali was awesome. We did a google search for best hair salon's in Woodland Hills and Mali's Studio came up first. We were skeptic at first but we made a reservation. We went in today for my wife's haircut and color. Mali spent like an hour answering all my wife's questions and concerns. Instead of pushing us to agree on a color and cut she gave us options and actually offered to prepare a few samples for us. She said she wanted us to be 100% sure and satisfied. She asked us to come back later to see the samples and then if we like we can schedule an appointment with her. She called us in a few hours with the samples, my wife liked one of the colors and asked Mili to see if we can get it done today. Although it was 5 pm on Friday she gratiously agreed to work on my wife's hair. She explained every thing and told us every detail of everything she did. My wife's hair color and cut turned out amazingly grate. Mili kept working till 10pm. We couldn't be more happier and satisfied and grateful.
