When my mother sadly passed, Allen sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers along with his heartfelt condolences. The flowers were so meaningful and lovely that we featured them in her memorial service. You truly have a heart like Jesus, as He said, 'I have come to be a servant of all and show you the Father's love through my actions.' Your daily actions, such as always entering my home with a sweet greeting and a smile. No matter what may have occurred on your drive to work you never let it change your kindness and compassion towards me. Your daily respect for my autonomy and personal choices have been a great relief and blessing to me. Last year, 2025, was enormously difficult for me physically, emotionally and mentally. I was badly injured by a caregiver who really didn't want to be with me. She wanted to run my life instead of letting me make my own decisions. Everything was a struggle. I am still dealing with the pain and suffering from her carelessness almost a year later. You, however, are the complete opposite of that caregiver. You show genuine care, compassion and empathy to me. At the same time you keep a close watch on me for my episodes, for any unusual reactions, for changes in my body or mind that may indicate something physically is about to happen or something that is happening without my knowledge. Your daily care of me is exceptional. Everything from reading my body signs or noticing that I am in the middle of a call, task or just not ready. Yet, you come back or tell me it's getting late for something we have scheduled. This may be as simple as my breakfast or as important as helping me to get ready for my doctor appointments, my bloodwork or therapy. You encourage me to try many things that can help my health, mood or my outlook for the day. Such as, helping me relearn my Spanish while I help you with English, or walking around the house with my gait belt and walker. You keep me on top of my goals. These can be as basic as making my bed every time I get up (in the morning and after my nap). In fact, this helped me create and continue this habit. Another goal of mine is building my strength and stamina enough to walk around outside my home. This has not happened yet, as I have been primarily bed bound since February 19, 2025. You encourage my stretching in bed to keep my body as limber as possible. This helps reduce injury in case of a fall. My personal Internist, Dr. Fondren of Newport Beach certainly appreciates your encouragement and reminders to help me to regain the strength I have lost since February 2025. (when a different caregiver injured me). Once I have regained a little more endurance, then I can start physical therapy. Finally, my family has been at peace with you being my main caregiver and I love how well you and Gabbi work together caring for me. Just knowing how dependable you both are, how you communicate with each other changes, concerns and even my meal planning and cooking. My sister and my son (they both call me almost every day) are amazed that I finally have a team like you and Gabbi. This organization is horrible!!! My mother was sent home from the hospital given less than six…read moremonths to live because of her brain cancer. I needed caretakers during the evening hours between 7PM and 7AM. They sent me one woman named Caroline would DID NOT change my mother's diaper ALL NIGHT, so the house smelled horrible. She refused to acknowledge to us that she didn't change it and blamed it on our dogs "smelling" even though they had recently been groomed and bathed. Caroline also made my brother and uncle rearrange our ENTIRE living room so that SHE could be comfortable, all while ignoring the care of my mother. Caroline returned the next day, but was 20 minutes late and did not change my mother's position in her hospital bed all night. We received another caregiver named Gloria that my mother did not feel comfortable with and who REFUSED to give my mother her morphine, lorazepam, trazadone, and albuterol FOR TWELVE HOURS. She claimed that she "was not allowed" to administer medication. Another caregiver they sent me named Victoria arrived at our home an hour and ten minutes late. Another one they sent me named Jasmina was nice to my mother, but very rude to me. Throughout the entire week, they only sent me ONE caregiver that actually did her job. How am i expected to pay these people $23 an hour for NOT DOING THEIR WORK. I called multiple times about receiving my money back, and so far I have been told three times that someone will call me back and then was hung up on without a "goodbye". We'll see! Accredited Home Care provides the worst, least competent caregivers I have ever seen. My mother is now traumatized and anxious that she will not receive medication; she constantly reminds me to tell our other caregivers to make sure they know where the medicine is because the caregivers from Accredited neglected her. End of life care is supposed to be about making the patient feel at peace and comfortable about their dying process, but all Accredited has done is make my mother feel anxious, sad, and uncomfortable.

I first found this company in 2022. My elderly mom had a slow healing leg wound that required home…read morehealth visits and outside doctor office visits to monitor & change dressings, showering help to keep the wound dry, dressing help and misc assistance so she could stay still enough to elevate her leg to encourage healing, and general help staying on top of all her appointments & needs. After speaking with a few other agencies & a single terrible experience with a contract caregiver, I chose this company because I liked that their caregivers are employees. Care Manager Yeni Anaya worked with me to learn about my mom's personality, quirks, sensitivities, & needs. Based on what I told her, she recommended a caregiver named Geraldine Rios for my mom. Now, almost 2 years later & long past the healing of the wound that made me seek out a caregiver in the first place, I have kept Geraldine on a regular schedule. I am so grateful for Yeni's recommendation & for the many hours of patience & caring & listening that Geraldine has dedicated to make my mom's life more rich & balanced. My mom can be fun & incessantly talkative, or quiet & broody, or picky & cranky. She does not socialize with many people - she was accustomed to just being with my dad for a century, so she is a one-person person. Geraldine handles all her moods like a pro. Before Geraldine, my dad was the only one who could do that. Geraldine has encouraged my mom to join in on more activities offered at her assisted living facility than she ever has, so they have fun together & it makes my mom socialize more with other residents. She also learned & remembered my mom's little OCD preferences, her own quirky ways of doing many things, plus the things that triggered her, & the things that bring her joy - like planting flowers or repotting orchids to rebloom again. Geraldine has a regular weekly schedule, but has always been flexible to change or edit her hours if my mom needs to make a doctor's appointment at a different time, or decides she is too cranky & needs alone time, or wants to take a 2-hour shower during which she blabs to her & turns the water off every 15 minutes to conserve resources. I can always count on Geraldine to let me know if anything seems off with my mom, so she has given me so much peace of mind. When my mom is in a good mood, she laughs w/Geraldine & they have fun. When my mom is cranky, she will blame anything & everything on Geraldine. When my mom is needy, she will ask Geraldine to never leave her til she dies. I imagine this is similar to how my mom used to act with my dad before he passed away. I hope that your loved ones can be matched with someone like Geraldine too. A great caregiver will give you the peace of mind that you need, & your loved one a much better quality of life.

I'm not sure about some of these reviews-I've had the same experience as other one star commenters…read more No communication unless I follow up. Very difficult to get someone on the phone or a returned call. Hold Times over 30-40 minutes just to talk to someone. Unanswered voicemails. I've updated my availability hours to almost 'anytime' and they still haven't matched me with any caregivers for my disabled son. It's been 3 years of this. It started a little better back in the beginning of the process-we had a handful of different caregivers. All but one were really inexperienced or flaky-would cancel last minute or just not show. They sent me someone in their late 60's who was physically incapable of taking care of another person. She needed to sit the entire visit and got winded easily-so I couldn't leave and almost had to care take HER. I had one caregiver show up and tell me she was basically homeless and asked if we could help pay her under the table. That was during Covid-so didn't feel like it was safe having someone from a shelter exposing my immunocompromised child. We had one show up high-I didn't feel comfortable-so asked her to leave-after that we haven't been paired with anyone. It is very hard -according to the caregivers also- to get a hold of anyone at the company to sort of liaison. I found myself helping navigate some of the issues with the caregivers and their timesheets from my end since they also seemed to not know. Regional center has no other options so we are stuck on some long waiting list for some mediocre care-when and if it ever comes.
