I don't think so. She said if he played with a toy she would make him stop immediately because it wasn't allowed at that time. Isn't this place supposed to be kid friendly? They also take very seriously who picks up the children and make sure the right person has signed in. Each person has to have a code when they come in and they make sure you are who you say you are. Terrible facility. First, the turnover rate with teachers is horrible. All the good ones my child…read morehad left. We had about 4 different teachers in the year we were enrolled. My child did not always like to go and for good reasons. There was no structure at drop off and they would have one or two teachers overseeing at least 20 kids of different age groups. There were a couple of teachers who actually taught the kids some things, but they left within a few weeks. They did not intervene when some kids were getting too physical or verbally abusive with others. We also started getting charged more one month without warning and when I asked if there was a mistake, they said my child was not potty trained and therefore, they moved her back into the class with younger kids. Not only does that not help with development, they also GUARANTEED they would potty train the kids and then make uneducated decisions and prevent your child from being with kids their age because THEY FAILED your kid or barely tried to train them. And charging parents more for their failures is unacceptable. The director, Mrs Felicia, was the worst of them. She will not actually listen to your concerns and blatantly lied to me. And the teachers LIE about how much your kid is eating. I would watch my kid on the classroom cameras and most times, she did not eat, and yet, the teachers would mark that she ate all her food (as I am literally watching her throw her barely touched plate). My daughter was not feeling well once and was literally laying on one of the classroom tables for about 2 hours. The "teacher" did not once go check on her. In the meantime, I was able to to get off of work to go get her and, when I arrived, the teacher had the audacity to tell me she checked on her and had just told the front office to call me to pick her up. This was a lie because, again, she did not go check on her. So she lie to my face even though I told her I was watching the live feed this entire time. Do yourself a favor and stay away from that facility. They DO NOT CARE about your children. The ones who do leave or are not given enough opportunities to help your child. They should not be allowed to be in business until they replace 90% of their staff, including the director.

Upon entering the building, the atmosphere was depressing and miserable. The quality of the classrooms was not only dull and lacking adequate resources and stimulation for children, but they were also unsanitary and unkempt. The management seemed indifferent and disconnected, appearing apathetic towards the children's well-being, as if they were only there for the paycheck. Moreover, the overall state of the facility raises questions about the value for money. Considering the subpar conditions and the lack of engagement from the management, it seems highly questionable whether the cost of services provided at this childcare facility is justified. TLDR; My visit to this childcare facility left me deeply concerned and disappointed!

Photos have been shown to numerous medical and those professionally involved with DCFS and have all agreed what they looked like. Our granddaughter has also experienced a significant change in behavior going from a very happy outgoing 2 year old to one that suddenly stops and gets extremely sad and lays down on the ground and hides her face. This change developed over a few weeks after being moved into the 2's room. I personally had interaction that day with the woman that I believe was responsible. She was extremely negative about our granddaughter, made very libelous remarks about my son and his wife, to me directly, and expressed her dislike for our granddaughter stating her scream was too loud. When I went to pick up my granddaughter that day (because she stated she could not stop her from screaming) my granddaughter was laying on her cot, quietly, just starring at me. When I asked her to come to me she stayed looking frozen in fear. When I picked her up she immediately buried her face into my shoulder until we reached the front office, refusing to look at this woman. This woman approached me wearing a large fluffy robe and had been lying next to another child in the back of the room. When the Director of this facility was confronted the next morning by the parents, they were told the woman acted completely unprofessionally, that they had no concerns with their parenting, and that the woman was "having a bad day". Then fire her!!! No one that acts that way should be left with any vulnerable child. It was the day of the meeting with the Director that the bruises were noticed. Our granddaughter has never returned to this facility, the Director has stopped responding to the parents, and a complaint filed, with photos, with the necessary agencies. Both the woman and the Director should be removed from this facility.
