We chose a cozy window seat near a heater since my wife was shivering. It seemed perfect--until the waitress, who I believe is the owners' daughter, came over and insisted we move one table away from the window. By this point, we had already removed our coats and settled in. Confused, I asked why we needed to move, especially since the place was nearly empty. She claimed the window seat was "too narrow," which was an odd excuse. We explained we were comfortable where we were and preferred to stay. She then came up with another excuse, saying she needed to close the shutter behind us. It was already dark, and there was no practical reason to close it, but I offered to step aside briefly if she really needed to close it, as long as we could return to our seats. Rather than resolve the situation calmly, she launched into a lecture about my "attitude" and told me to calm down--despite the fact that I was simply trying to explain our preference. I tried to de-escalate, suggesting we move on and focus on our meal, but she kept arguing. At that point, we'd had enough. When she left to get the menus, we decided to leave instead. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to dine.

It's very easy to miss this Thai restaurant in passing if you don't know it's there. Downstairs you have the open kitchen where the chefs prepare the delicious fresh food. When you order an orange juice, lychee or coconut juice you will love the way they present that too.
