Popped to this barbers for a haircut (obvs). On entry was followed by another gent and, at first, got completely ignored in favour of this other customer. Was eventually acknowledged so decided to wait as I needed a haircut. Other guy was offered an appointment in an hour, which he declined, I was not. The guy who at first ignored me explained that he always cuts this guy's hair and I should be next in with the other barber anyway. Guess what. Another customer turns up for his appointment with the other barber. When the first guy had finished I was basically told that I would be waiting for the other barber as the guy who followed me in had his hair cut by guy 1; no discussion, no option. It's usual practice in a barber's for the customer to decide whether he's waiting for his hair to be done by a particular barber, isn't it? read more
