Doctor who can't listen and/or take notes! On the first meeting I told doctor Aparnath that I tried to use BiPAP for 8 months and return it as it didn't work for me. We talked about other options yet he insisted on sleep study. I agreed but told him that I don't need the settings for BiPAP, only a baseline to see how it changed from more than a year ago. Report had BiPAP numbers, no baseline! I did home sleep study. Few days later his office called me and informed me that he was going to order ..... BiPAP machine for me! Give me one good reason I have to see a doctor, who makes decisions without checking his notes or at least discussing options with the patient. read more

4 stars for the doctor only. Doctor is fine, he managed care for a chronic issue and would consukt when I was hospitalized. Made sure I was well cared for when his expertise was needed. However, he changed outpatient office locations and has a new receptionist. I went to check in and she said I had called this morning to cancel and reschedule. I definitely didn't, and she didn't offer any alternative for the mistake. Hopefully they figure out what patient actually rescheduled or a better system since I have nobody authorized to speak for me or anyone with a reason to pretend to be me and cancel. When I said I didnt call her response was "well I didnt do any crack cocoaine". I understand miatakes happen, but it was entirely on their end with no offer to resolve it. I'll find care elsewhete because while the doctor was good and fine for the most part, its not worth dealing with that receptionist again. read more

Im going to start this review by saying that Dr aparnath was excellent ! I was referred to him after having a bilateral pulmonary embolism. He was professional , very personable , and very informative. Both me as a patient and my husband felt really comfortable with me receiving treatment from him. I decided to not continue my care with his office -which was a really tough choice because now I have to establish care elsewhere and start my process over because oft experience with his office staff . I had my appointment early October , I was to follow up mid November having completed some blood work , and some imaging prior to my appointment. I called maybe two weeks later to find out if there was an update on my referral for that as I know places are booking far out and authorizations from HMO plans can take up to a few weeks for approval. Front desk let me know it was way too soon , I had just been seen, that my appointment wasn't until mid November and that they will follow up with me when they had submitted for auth. I was hesitant because , they don't use MyChart portal so I wasn't sure about how to get my updates. I was mainly concerned because I was very anxious about my health and was eager to follow what I needed to do to help my health plan flow smoothly . On the week prior to my appointment or maybe the last week of October I received on my MyChart that my insurance had approved for my imaging . I called the scheduling department to which they responded that I needed the drs orders. I then proceeded to contact Dr Aparnath's office, to ask about that and to let them know that the imaging department was scheduling out further than what my follow up appointment was going to be . I was informed that it was not his orders but his notes , I said ok so what does that mean can I follow up with just my labs ? Front desk said , that I needed both. I then asked about Telehealth appointments since I have work. I was told that he does not do them, I was asked about my work schedule and when I could come in , I was conflicted because the dates I was providing availability for were not aligning . That's no fault of the office of course . But then I expressed that it's hard to get time off work since I already have a lot of appointments I need to miss work for and that it's tough because I was ready to complete everything I needed to and was ready for my follow up. I was responded to with " well I don't know what you want me to say , the Dr is very busy". Needless to say, this was a new practice and process for me , I would've appreciated more of an explanation of how exactly everything was going to work, I think as a patient and as a healthcare worker myself , you realize that sometimes because in our practice we understand things it doesn't mean everyone does when it's just said . I remember I mentioned I had left a voicemail and I was told "do you even check curogram" between that and the previous remark, it was very obvious that there was no sympathy in terms of trying to be understanding of my concerns of anxieties that I already had concerning my care . I see the reviews on both the Dr and the staff of his practice are generally good , but although, my experience with the Dr was exceptional, my experience with the front desk staff , was not. I ended up not saying anything other than ok , and re-scheduling my appointment for early December , which was already upsetting given the fact that I was eager to get answers. I then decided that although , I appreciate the doctor , how I like my care to be communicated to me was not a match with how his front desk communicates and deals with the situation, I simply decided to obtain a new referral to another practice and start over . read more

Easily the worst service ever, Laura needs to check the attitude before coming into this line of work. Incredibly unprofessional and thinks her problems amount to those who are in a time of sickness and require help. I can't believe she is employed by this business let alone that she is an actual human being with compassion (clearly didn't show it). I will never return to this location and if you value customer service never come here as long are Laura is employed. read more

Most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. Doctor is great but the staff - especially Laura is the most disrespectful and condescending employee I have ever come across blaming patients for her lack of professionalism, and saying they are not required to translate for patients when by law it is required to provide translation services. She also blames patients for the poor pay they receive and the long hours she works. Not only are they not helpful to patients but speaking to them in this way is the worst treatment I have ever seen. I am appalled at the treatment and would never recommend this place to anyone. Healthcare is a place where compassion is the center and if you are not there to advocate for your patients Laura you're in the wrong field. read more

I saw this doctor after contracting Covid in 2022 and subsequently suffering bronchitis for 9 months. My main symptom was a wet cough with copious sputum. I begged him to test my sputum and he refused. In fact, he laughed at me and diagnosed me with Eosophilic asthma and put me on Fasenra samples before validating my asthma with a pulmonary function test which took months to get and didn't show asthma. I suffered for months which turned into years. I developed pneumonia with bronchiectasis which he downplayed. I did three rounds of antibiotics up to this point not based on any sensitivities. I was taking tons of meds including immuno suppressants like prednisone and trelegy either cortico steroids. I barely functioned and still he would tell me my cough was psychological. His office is a revolving door but when Debbie started it really got bad. They stopped accepting the medical group I had switched to stay with him. Debbie said I had too lowball of insurance and if I was serious about seeing Dr Aparnath I had better step it up. lol. I finally had to switch to a new pulmonologist. Right away he wanted to test my sputum and there it was: I had an Achromobacter xylosoxidans gram negative bacterial infection. I had a hard time getting treated because others told me that bronchiectasis is "incurable and would destroy my life" . So much for psychological. I was afraid of running into this doctor at the emergency room which I came to depend on. Today is the 10th day since completing my IV antibiotics if mereponem 3x daily. Thank god for AI. I'll never be as relaxed when seeing a doctor again after this experience. The bacteria that was growing in my lungs was eating me alive and it took 9 rounds of antibiotics to fix it. If ur seeing this doctor and he refuses to test your sputum run, don't walk. It's not all in your mind. Happy 4th! read more

Dr. Aparnath is the most thorough, concerned and kind doctor I have ever had the pleasure to meet. His office staff are pleasant and follow through as well. My husband was sent for a general follow-up for his sleep apnea. Dr Aparnath wanted to be thorough, ordered an MRI, and found a tumor on his spine. He has personally coordinated with surgeons, hospital staff for testing and specialists for my husband. We are so thankful for him. I was refered to this Doctor by my Primary Dortor for minor Hypervetilated lung; Dr Aparnath is very good doctor and very detail on his diagnostic. I have major issue with his office staffs, he priscribed me several medications to be pick up at my Pharmacy but until today i still did not have any medication at all, I call his office and contact the staff several time but they seems lack of computer skills and did no know how to request medication online. Also my lab work order are incomplite, they did not include lab orders with specific lab.; I have Medicare HMO I can't just stop by any lab to do the blood work and CT scan. I am extremly disappointed and frustrated with this offce how they handle the patients. read more

this review is about laura (in the front desk) shes a racist i heard her telling her coworker racial comments about a patient who just walked out , and brang up this woman's private medical information loud enough for a few of us who were there for appts could hear . laura also made horrible obese remarks when a over weight woman was signing in. when i asked if she (laura) could give me a copy for billing insurance purposes she stated she could not to return in a couple of days .i returned and laura stated im not a patient there, theres no medical information & im not in the system. laura is unprofessional ..all people i spoke with who visited the office have agreed with me . read more
