DATELINE 11/21/2023: DR KNUTSON RETIRED, OFFICE PHONE…read moreDISCONNECTED, AND WEBSITE TAKEN DOWN I previously called Dr. Knutson's office during the late 2010s, but I was told that Dr. K had retired. But at the time the receptionist said his partner was still active. I called to get a recommendation for dental insurance (they recommend Delta). I just tried calling his office today, November 21, 2023, but a recording says the phone number is disconnected. And the website connects to an unrelated office in the San Francisco Bay Area. I take this to mean that his partner must've closed up shop as well for whatever reason. This is too bad because I agree with all the five star ratings on Yelp. Along with other dental work I had done earlier in the 2010s, I had him make my partial dentures (my "fangs") in 2017. Dr. K liked the humor of my referring to them as fangs. I tried to call his office today because I had lost my little blue "fang box" used to put them in, hoping I could obtain a replacement. But who am I to complain about retirement being that I'm retired myself. Dr. K, may your retired life be blessed!

He has some pretty serious anxiety about going to the dentist, so my role was to tag along as moral support & to just be present during the dental procedures (& to drive because the hubs needed to take Valium to help with the anxiety). I can say beyond the shadow of any doubt that the treatment my husband received here was outstanding. Everyone cares, everyone listens, & everyone is involved! I truly have never met another dental group who was so focused on providing the absolute best care, in the best way, to their patients. And, aside from the fantastic customer service & excellent chair-side manner, these folks do great work. Highly recommended!

This office has a connection with each of their patients and make them feel comfortable and treat them like family. Great clean office, well maintained, AMAZING staff! Definitely hope I get another opportunity to work for them again! This office is truly blessed.

Dr. Michael Adams is an incredible Dentist!…read more His care, professionalism and knowledge comes shining through from the first moment you sit down in the dental chair. After having a very bad, painful and expensive experience with a former dentist it was such a blessing to find a dental professional of this caliber who treated me with respect, care and solutions to help correct the problems. I believe in endorsing professionals that truly care about their patients and believe in ethical treatment. If you want the very best care for your dental needs, I HIGHLY endorse Dr. Adams of Adams Family Dental.

I saw Dr. Christescu about two years ago for a routine exam and cleaning. During that visit, she…read moreidentified what she said was a cavity and told me it needed to be drilled and filled. When I began asking basic questions about the diagnosis and what she was seeing, the interaction felt abruptly shut down. My concerns were dismissed, and it was clear that there would be no discussion or explanation -- the recommendation was presented as final. Shortly after that, she left the room to attend to something else and did not return. That experience left me uncomfortable and uncertain. I had prepaid for two appointments, so I chose not to proceed with the filling and returned about six months later for the second visit. At that appointment, she again told me I needed invasive dental work, describing a procedure that involved drilling through one tooth to access the side of another. Once again, when I tried to ask questions and understand the reasoning, I felt there was no openness to discussion. At that point, I decided not to continue as a patient. What makes this especially troubling is what I learned later. Two years after those visits, I saw another dentist I trust and had a full exam and X-rays done. I was told I have no cavities and that no treatment is needed. If the issue identified two years ago had truly been urgent or progressive, you would reasonably expect it to be worse by now. Instead, it doesn't appear to exist at all. Dentistry involves permanent, irreversible procedures, and patients deserve clear explanations, thoughtful discussion, and a willingness to answer questions -- especially when aggressive treatment is being recommended. I'm very glad I sought a second opinion. I can't speak for anyone else's experience, but based on mine, I would strongly encourage patients to ask questions, trust their instincts, and seek a second opinion before agreeing to invasive dental work.

She continuously threatened me with 'the waiting room' for not putting the teeth they made in my mouth and look in the mirror, at one point I thought she was going to slap me even. Megan refused to listen to anything I had to say about the situation and demanded i take the teeth and wear them for a couple days before I made up my mind, but the teeth were exactly wat I didn't want and I told the dentures this several times. Megan continued trying to humiliate and embarrass me as she attempted to intimidate me into taking those teeth. When all her tactics failed she tried punishing me by whispering to the other staff, looking at me then laughing. When she finally brought MY money to me..she presented it to me with such a big smile and speech, u would have thought she was presenting me with an award, but just before she turned to walk away, she muttered FUCKING BITCH under her breath to me. I wanted to say " What did u just say?" But what would be the point? Megan obviously has problems. I would not recommend this place to anybody because Megan ruins any kind of satisfactory experience let alone a good feening!

The complete & total lack of integrity, in my opinion, cannot be overstated; the work appalling. My visit was to fix/bond a broken front tooth. He said "he did that for free" & proceeded to quote the other work, including items I had already refused & that he would start in the back of the mouth. I had a disappointing experience with this dental office during my Invisalign treatment. I…read moreinitially chose this practice because my case seemed straightforward, and I felt comfortable moving forward with a general dentist rather than an orthodontist based on their reassurance. Unfortunately, the results did not meet expectations. Despite following the treatment plan as directed, I was not satisfied with the final outcome, and my concerns were not adequately addressed when I brought them up. There was a lack of clear communication and accountability regarding next steps or potential corrections. The financial aspect has also been frustrating. I paid for treatment in full at the beginning, yet I have continued to receive requests for additional payments with inconsistent amounts and no clear explanation. This has felt disorganized and unprofessional. In addition, I was never provided with retainers at the completion of treatment, which is a standard and essential part of Invisalign care. Because of this and the unresolved issues with my results, I ultimately had to transfer my care to another provider, pay a transfer fee, and complete treatment elsewhere at additional cost. Overall, this was a frustrating experience marked by poor communication, lack of follow-through, and unexpected financial issues. I would recommend others carefully consider their options before proceeding with treatment here.

I had a broken tooth, so came in to get it repaired. They were able to get me in super quickly, and the support staff were communicative and friendly. The dental hygienists were great - very friendly, quick. The dentist was nice enough, but I returned to get it fixed (after the evaluation), and had such an awful experience. I've never had such an unpleasant, uncomfortable experience, with little to no information being communicated. I left, vowing never to return but unfortunately this tooth began to hurt (which never hurt when it was broken), sensitive, and completely unable to bite down. I returned for repair and was told that sometimes this happens. Again, this has never happened to me. They fixed it I suppose. It is still more sensitive than any other teeth but I will never be back here. Unfortunate, because staff were nice and this is located near to me. Other offices have a long wait to get in, or are not taking new patients and I guess I should've known when they could get me in right away!
