The entire experience was awesome! Marina was professional but also very personable, and we immediately felt comfortable with her, as if we'd known her for years! The eye lash extensions turned out beautiful, my daughter loved them and so did I! We hit it off so well with Marina, that we ended up scheduling a hair and makeup appointment for my daughter's Senior prom. If you know me, you'd know that I would never trust such an important event to someone that we had absolutely no experience with, but that's how much we were impressed with Marina. Fast forward two weeks and we're back to see Marina for an eye lash fill, hair and makeup for Prom. To say that we were pleased with the final results in an understatement!! My daughter looked beautiful, basically like herself, but with just a bit more glamour and glitz. Marina did exactly what we asked for, and was more than willing to adjust, if we decided we wanted more or less of something. This was by far the least stressful dance, prom experience that I've ever had because Marina took care of everything! Since our first appointment, the women of my family have had the following services delivered by Marina: Full set eyelash extension (3), hair & makeup (2), eyelash fills (2). I have another daughter getting the full set done next week, and my 18 year old and myself will be getting fills! Gorgeous European Studio fits that criteria for me, and I feel others need to know about this experience This studio was recommended to me by someone that I know and trust; so I did not hesitate to make an appointment. I was very excited; as I am 62 years of age, and have always wanted to have my brows done, but was fearful that if a bad job was done, there would be no hiding it, so it was not until recently that I chose to take this step. There are two appointments in this process, and I completed the first one, which I found to be satisfactory. It was a big change for me going from a thin eyebrow to a fuller one, so I factored this into my level of satisfaction. I was told to contact this provider between 4-6 weeks to arrange the final appointment, which I attempted on week 4 via text. This is the place in which I TALK about the new KIND of provider. Since I did not hear back from the provider, I called later in the week, I. WhichI did get ahold of her, in which I was told to text her with my request. I did so, and she responded promptly, asking if I could come in the following day, in which I responded I could not, as I was having to go out of town for three days. I asked if there was anything available the following week, which would be week 6, in which she stated that this would be too late, and that it was my job to make my appointments within the appropriate time frame, and that it was not her fault that I was setting up my second appointment too late, and now if I wanted to complete the process it would cost me more money. I will let you know that the provider did not let me know that I had to make sure the final appointment was done between 4-6 weeks, which actually I would have been within this time frame. I once again explained that I had texted her, but did not hear back, and shared that I was having to fly out of town due to my mother being on Hospice, which had not been planned. Her response was "sorry for your problem" with a sad emoji, but that there was nothing she could do to help! I'll be honest, I was shocked; I am 62 years of age, have a Master's in Social Work, and was brought up with the belief system that you always do right by anyone you work with. I have always worked with pride, and always with the intent of doing the best job I could. This young woman could have cared less; showed no compassion, or empathy, and was only willing to finish the job if I gave her more money. Now in all fairness to her; I could not find the text I sent her, so it most likely did not get to her! I suspect she did not believe that I sent it, but irregardless there did-does not appear to be any pride or concern whether she gets a good review or not! I let her know that I would be letting the person know who referred her what had happened , and that sad for her I could not giver her a good review. I even left a sad emoji. I will never recommend this provider to anyone.
