Today we had an appointment for each of us to get our hair cut and I LOVE what she did with my hair after giving her a general idea of what I like and asking her to do whatever she thinks is best. She gave really great tips and tricks to maintain my hair with as little effort as possible since I generally invest zero effort into my hair. My husband has gorgeous curly hair and she has twice now done a spectacular cut doing curl by curl. The last cut grew out to look freshly cut even as it grew which blew my mind. Today's appointment took longer than anticipated (I came in and made the appointment during the week and I think they underestimated how much hair my husband has) and she stated after closing to take her time giving him an amazing haircut. also love that she's bilingual since our family is too. Her overall vibe is empowering and loving. Her eye for aesthetics is wild and it was very cool to see her take my hair from a hot mess that hadn't been cut in a year to being luxe AF. Fernanda only works Saturdays, and it is really nice to spend a chill Saturday in the salon with her. I can't speak/type highly enough of her as a stylist and as a person. The overall salon is really beautiful and our four-year-old has been with us both times we've been to the salon and not only did he enjoy the space, he was offered drinks and snacks along with us. He really likes Fernanda as she talks with him and interacts with him in such a kind way. She offered him a bench near the window to play on and he loved watching people walk by and play with the toys we brought. He said he likes watching her cut hair and she's really good at it so he also recommends you should make an appointment with her!

Appointment scheduling is easy and I've had no problems canceling appointments when I had too. The salon is always clean and I like the clothing and other products they have for sale. I've recommended this place to several friends who all had good experiences. This is not a place to go if you want super cheap hair services but the quality matches the price. It's a higher end salon with professional quality results. I'm glad we have a place like this in Longview because when it comes to my hair I will gladly pay a professional to have it done right.

Cancelled 3 Weeks Before my Wedding I contacted Platinum on…read moreOctober 3rd for my wedding on December 21st. The contracting process was really easy and response time were prompt while I was setting up the booking. I was hopeful as they have a number of positive reviews. Once the booking was secured the communication started to go downhill. I was interested in learning more about extensions. They offered suggestions such as Amazon or Sally's Beauty. Going to Sally's or ordering off Amazon made me really nervous. I asked to set up a consultation at the salon as they offer both tapes and hand tied extensions in the salon. On October 10th, I requested a consultation, and wanted to book a cut to make the drive from Portland more worthwhile. I didn't get a response until November 1st, and only after I sent a request for follow-up. Unfortunately, the response got lost in the thread, and I didn't see it, as it only consisted of a date and time. I had already found a local option to assist me, as they didn't seem interested in the business. At no point in the communication had they made any attempt to schedule my trial that is included in the cost. I reached out on November 27th to see about scheduling my trial. I didn't get a response, and sent another email on December 1st. At this time I was informed that there was no availability, and maybe there would be a cancellation. I was understandably frustrated as I would hope they would have proactively scheduled my trial especially if the stylist books fill so quickly. I expressed that in an email, and was told that they had made "multiple attempts" to schedule my trial. I'm unsure if this is just organizational incompetence or if they were being dishonest. There was no mention of the trial in the correspondence. I responded with the same information in this review, and asked to have the owner call me. One point of frustration is that the owner has a number of assistants that also respond to the emails. No one signs with their names, so it's unclear who your are talking to at any point in the correspondence. The owner responded by apologizing for the "miscommunication", and cancelled the

I went to purchase my items with the coupon and the prissy cashier totaled my amount to $9.95. I paid for it but asked her why wasn't the foot cream $2.49 like it said on the shelf. Her reply "you got to use your $10 coupon!" I then told her, well why does the shelf price say $2.49? Once again, her reply "I have no idea." Good grief, at least check out the customers complaint!!!

Today had been my birthday, and my friend and I had been swatching items in the high end section. A few minutes went by, and an employee stopped us to ask if we needed anything. I politely declined and continued to look around. The same question was then repeated a new employee. I, again, politely declined and continued to look around once more. This same routine happened numerous times before I realized they must think we had been doing something wrong. One employee even went as far to follow us across the entire store. Overall, it was humiliating and I do not suggest going there unless you like being treated like a criminal the entire time. (I did end up buying things at the end so it was pretty irrelevant being treated the way we did.)
