I know this is about makeup, but I first fell in love with her personality, and then her skills are top-notch like I don't know where the training came from, but it definitely is super professional and incredibly knowledgeable. All of the makeup she uses is the highest quality. She's really into proper skin care as well and has so many good tips and tricks that you can apply to your own make up routine when you don't have a professional like her around to do your face ha ha. I hired Beatrix to do my make up for my birthday because I was turning 37 and wanted to feel like I was only turning 27! Mission accomplished she gave me a fresh glow Dewey face, perfectly plump lips that I still have not been able to replicate for some reason, ha ha, and this effortless Fresh face Look that made me look insanely pretty but also like I wasn't trying at all. It was perfect.! She was quick and so fun to talk to you. I almost didn't wanna leave and I even invited her to come to my birthday party! Everyone complimented me all night, which is something that doesn't happen often when I do my own makeup, even though I consider myself medium skilled ha ha anyways I'm really glad I did it. No regrets!

Honestly, Sharon is so good at what she does, I don't even think I needed a trial because I absolutely loved what she did but it gave me peace of mind and reassurance. I told her all my concerns (oily skin, hair that doesn't hold curls, etc) and she made sure it was all addressed. I had SO many compliments after my trial and on wedding day. My hair normally doesn't hold a curl but I wanted cohesive waves and they held the entire night without making my hair feel stiff. She was perfectly on time too. Her arrival, set up and doing my mom's makeup, my sister's hair and makeup and then mine. She ended perfectly at the end time we aimed for too. I was also pretty nervous on wedding morning and getting my hair and makeup done was surprisingly soothing. I've never felt prettier in makeup than I did with Sharon's work. I'd hire here again for any event I'd want to look extra perfect for.

They didn't try to up-charge me when I showed them a picture of what I wanted. They were quick and the results were spot on. Plus I haven't had a single lash fall off in the first week, which is rare. It's not cheap! But it's in line with other DTLA salons and the result is worth it.

Keilor first took our reservation questions by phone and was so polite, patient, insightful, and clear with what we should expect and then we booked online with ease. His team welcomed us graciously and Claudia was very attentive during our relaxation/pre-treatment experience. I got an incredible facial from Tej who is French, so the European facial style that I was craving was beyond my expectations. I usually book Soho House Cowshed facials as a comparison but they're not in LA. My facial included a Hydrafacial element, collagen mask, (enhancement upgraded) LED light therapy, hot stone shoulder/neck massage, ice rollers, Gua for lymphatic draining, and overall was relaxing but effective for anti-aging/brightening. Originally I was anxious about the facial because I had a very nauseating morning migraine but I mentioned that to Tej and she did a scalp and head massage with pressure point activation and it magically went away! I was sooo appreciative, and truly can't wait to come back. If you're looking for a nice few hours with affective results, I highly recommend.

Every chair was filled with hip young people, I felt a little out of my element at first, not gonna lie hahaha I was then taken back by the wonderful Chloe to get my locker for my stuff and for the most amazing shampoo I've had in a long time! After that, I met the stylist Somi and she assessed my face shape, hair pattern, and took it to account my vision and need for low maintenance.
