Unfortunately, the customer service was among the worst I've ever experienced. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Our cart broke down on the third hole, and when I called for assistance, the attendant began yelling at me. When they finally brought a replacement cart, they parked it in a non-driving zone and then scolded us for driving near the green--exactly where they had left it. The pace of play was painfully slow, with groups stacked up in front and behind us. To top it off, staff yelled at us at the end for parking the cart "in the wrong area," even though we left it right next to the sign marked "Cart Return." The course itself was average at best--similar to a municipal course--but with premium pricing and very poor service. The Gold Course, on the other hand, was a completely different experience--truly a 180. The course was in great shape, and the staff were friendly and professional. They greeted us warmly, helped load our bags, and gave a helpful overview before we started. While play was still a bit slow, everyone we encountered was courteous and pleasant. Overall, I'd avoid the Blue Course but highly recommend the Gold Course for its excellent condition and outstanding customer service.

I remember the course being in decent shape, and having some nice holes, but mainly it was about seeing how often I could hit into Dirty Harry before he blew me away! Fortunately, "The Man With No Name" kept his .44 Magnum in the holster and we caught up with him a few holes later while waiting for the group in front of them. We chatted for awhile (they were both REALLY down to earth and friendly) about golf and such, and they went on their way. It was just one of those, "did that just really happen" moments. Another thing I remember was watching the sunset over Molokini, it was nothing short of breathtaking and the perfect end to an awesome day.

I saw a worker who was kicking back watching TV in the covered part of the area. He asked if I need help so I asked where the bathroom was. Instead of just answering my question, he proceeded to tell me (a woman with two small kids that needed to use the bathroom - if you know how that is... then you know how this felt) that this was private property, members only, and that I had to go use the portapotty... obviously this was fine, I didn't see a bathroom in this area and wasn't trying to sneak and use a pristine members only bathroom - just simply trying to find whatever beach bathroom there was. The tone in his voice telling me this is for "members only" and emphasizing over and over that we had to use the portapotty was disgusting... we were half way through the grass before he even saw us and I could see the portapotty right ahead of us when he pointed in the direction... he insisted that we could not continue walking through the completely vacant area and made us walk back the way we came and around the entire area. Mind you, walking backwards took as long as it would've had he let us walk forward, so it was simply a power play... When I said how do you know we aren't members? He started looking me up and down and said "I've never seen you." I'm black by the way... this is clearly a residential membership... assuming if I was a white woman with two kids, he may not have looked at me the way he did. What a smug - less than compassionate - disgusting worker bee... imagine explaining to my kids why they couldn't just continue walking through to the bathroom when we were already half way through and could see it in front of us... even my four year old picked up on his tone and told her dad he was "being mean to mommy" when we got back.

My lady and I came here 25 years ago to celebrate our beginnings and returned to appreciate our quarter century with the 'Aloha Spirit'. In preparations for our festivities Sheree in Guest Services graciously cared for us - she is an extraordinary gift to visitors. Every moment on property continued the appreciation, Angel and Nilma's thoughtful care at the front desk, to the wait staff's attentiveness - Toby, Brant, Olivia, P.T.... at the Lehua Lounge and poolside and especially Braden at Morimoto. In addition to the magical ambience, you are treated like royalty. Complimentary snacks in the room are replenished daily, citrus infused water refills everywhere, Hawaii ice cream treats offered poolside, sunscreen dispensers at every pool. When you are looking for a chaise, they immediate put a chair cover on for you and bring multiple towels.... The culture of care (Hoʻokipa) begins with the Hawaiian culture and the exceptionally personable GM Richard Elliot along with Kodi a beverage manager with his "Andaz style" (personal service). Beautiful memories were created from dawn's light peeking into the grand Lawai'a Lounge to, chaises by the four descending pools, to complementary beach adventures - snorkeling, kayaking... to sunsets from our beloved poolside upper terrace table. Every dish was a delight, many 'the best we could remember'. Mahalo for creating a beautiful commemoration, may you ever feel the appreciation of your guests and colleagues.

Adequate ventilation and air conditioning, good assortment of cardio, weight machines, Smith machine, and free weights. Laundry room, including detergent and dryer sheets, are free to use. Three washers and three dryers available. There is a 1.5 mile ocean view path that connects the resorts, Shops at Wailea, and public beaches. Lots of people walking and running it. Lots of kids. There is an adults only pool in front of the spa, but it's not consistently heated and no ocean views. Free mineral sunblock at every towel station (SPF 30 and 50). We came after a big storm, and none of the water activities were available due to County brown water advisory. The rest of the resort fee activities were a nice add-on (e.g. smores at sunset, ukulele lessons, bingo, photography session). Cocktails were not great. Stick to the beer and wine. Breakfast buffet was good enough, but inconsistent and nothing exciting. Veggie fried rice was really good the first day, but lacked flavor the next day. Longans were a nice touch, but wasn't available every day (and no other specialty fruit replacement out of the ordinary selection). Ohana room (transition lounge) is available if you have a later flight and want to stay on property after checkout time of 11AM. Clean and has all the amenities needed to freshen up before a late flight. Includes a bathing suit spinner to dry it out for packing. All in all, they have everything you need for a Maui vacay.

Front desk staff had an awful attitude when we asked questions and /or say hello, good morning etc. SPECIALLY THE TALL WOMAN WITH LONG HAIR (a local) you could tell she hated every guest. Everyone who's not from the island. We had no other choice lady! our company sent us there. we went there to work not to stay there forever. Also the other local women working in the front desk were very Apathetic/rude. In contrast the other staff who weren't locals were very polite and welcoming. 2). Rooms. The carpet is extremely filthy (wear flip flops otherwise your feet will be pitch black from the dirt ) our room was cleaned very late in the afternoon almost every day. Some days it was cleaned very well in the morning but when it was done in the afternoon, it wasn't clean well. No kitchen counters were cleaned, rug was not vacuumed and the shower had dirt on it, PUBIC HAIR! And on the sink counter as well. Very gross. Also the bed wasn't even made properly. 3). Noise! Walls are very thin. We could hear people screaming, laughing, slamming doors you name it! The good: The staff in the restaurant area were very lovely. The breakfast buffet was pretty good To the ladies or managers or whoever is putting a blind eye on how front desk staff is treating guests, you don't have the right to be disrespectful. Instead, focus your energy towards organizing and fighting the rich and powerful who are the real villains for taking away your land.

There were 8 of us in the class and very different levels ranging from kids on the college tennis team to me (who picked up tennis as a hobby during the pandemic). Joseph did a great job pairing us up for the mini games so it was a challenge for all. It was a great way to work off all the lava flows from the past week and have fun doing it. It's also a beautiful setting to play some tennis! I left my racquet back home, but they do offer rentals as well.
