Terry provided the motivation I needed. As a weekend warrior, age had slowed me down so I wanted…read moreto get lighter and stronger. Was 205 lbs. when I first started working out but within a few months, was down to 193 and feeling, looking, and performing better athletically. Terry also set me straight about my poor eating habits. He kept me accountable which is exactly what I needed. Highly recommended!!!!

From Flab to Fab in 6 Weeks!…read more I approached Terry with a short term goal to look fabulous for a corporate event that was only six short weeks away. Terry sat down with me to map out a plan that would work in spite of my busy work and travel schedule as well as a few physical concerns. Not only did Terry believe that my goal was achievable, but also, he knew exactly how to lead me to the results I desired! Frankly, the only factor in me failing was not showing up and not being faithful to the plan! The end result exceeded my expectations and the feedback from everyone was overwhelming. I absolutely respect Terry's approach as a trainer. First, he listens to each client and takes a personal interest in seeing each client reach their full potential. Second, he is extremely experienced and confident, which is a strength to those who are unsure of what is possible. And just because he has had much success, does not mean he is stagnant or boring! He is constantly bringing new life into his routines without compromising the foundation of what works. Third, you will work hard and give your best. You will learn to think and speak the best. And you are worth it!

Poor communication, rude and unfriendly attitude The people…read moreat the front desk are very rude and customer unfriendly. I had 2 free passes from the advertisement they did on Facebook. Day 1 - I faced no concerns and they also confirmed that I have another free pass that I can use. When I come the next day, they refuse to honor the second day free pass. They did not even bother to see my free pass email that was unused. They showed no commitment about the confirmation their own staff gave me that I have another free pass. The manager was not present and did not pick up the call. They are just making fool of people with false information. Waste of time. Beware of joining them. The only reason I was planning to join this gym was because of proximity to my home. I would rather go to other gyms who are much more friendly.

I'm a paying customer and should be treated with respect like others…read more I recently canceled my OneLife Fitness membership after nearly six months of attending 5 days a week. During that time, I spent an average of 1-2 hours per visit and did my best to be a respectful member--reracking weights, wiping down equipment, and being considerate of other people in the gym. The reason I canceled wasn't the equipment or the facility. It was the customer service. The towel situation became a constant source of frustration. Instead of greeting members or acknowledging them when they scan in, the front desk staff often appear more interested in avoiding eye contact than providing service. If you want a towel, don't expect anyone to offer one--you have to proactively ask for it almost every time. What made the experience even worse was being repeatedly questioned about whether I was a Premier member after requesting a towel. After coming to the gym nearly every day for half a year, being treated like I was trying to get away with something became exhausting. There is a respectful way to verify membership benefits, and then there is making paying customers feel like they're being challenged or scrutinized. What bothered me most was the lack of basic courtesy. A simple "hello," eye contact, or acknowledgment when members walk in shouldn't be difficult. Instead, I often felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by asking for a service included with the membership I was paying for. Over time, I couldn't help but wonder whether my appearance played a role in how I was being treated. As a minority with visible tattoos, I often felt singled out and scrutinized in ways that other members did not appear to be. While I can't say for certain what motivated the behavior, the repeated questioning and lack of basic courtesy left me feeling that my race and tattoos may have influenced the assumptions being made about me. I'm a combat-disabled veteran. The staff was unaware of my veteran status until I raised my concerns about how I was being treated. Once I mentioned it, their attitude noticeably changed. I was suddenly informed that they offered a VA discount, and the interactions became much friendlier. While I appreciate businesses that support veterans, it was disappointing to see a difference in how I was treated only after revealing my background. Respect and professionalism should be extended to every member from the start, not based on whether someone qualifies for a discount or has a particular status. I chose not to accept the discount and proceeded with canceling my membership. Ultimately, I realized there are too many gyms competing for my business to continue paying for an experience that consistently left me feeling unwelcome. That's why I canceled my membership and chose to take my business elsewhere.
