They cleaned some cotton flags for us. Did a good job, charged reasonable amount and got them done when we needed them

I had Greta alter 4 golf shorts for me. She had them done promptly and at a reasonable price. She…read moreensured the fit was perfect. Very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend.

She lost my dress. I…read moredropped off a dress to be hemmed. She finished it, texted me it was ready, and quoted $22. I asked if I could pick it up when another item I was waiting on arrived, and she said sure. When I texted to arrange the pickup, she asked me to describe the dress, then said she could not find it. She never found it. I did not make a big deal of it. By luck I had accidentally ordered two of the same dress, so instead of asking her to pay me the $90 it cost, I took a $90 credit toward alterations. I was on a deadline, so I brought her the second dress for the same hem, plus a jumpsuit to hem and another dress to hem with the slit raised. When I handed her the second dress, she recognized it and said she remembered it being a pain because of the fabric. Her invoice priced that hem at $40. She had charged $22 for the identical hem on the identical dress three weeks earlier, in a text I still had. The total came to $97, and after the credit she texted "You owe me $7." When I pointed out the $22, she said this dress was thinner and slinkier than the other one. It was the same dress, she knew it was, and she had hemmed both. As soon as I said so, she dropped it back to $22. She lost my dress, I let her off easy, and she padded the bill she knew my credit was covering. If I had not kept her text I would have paid it. I cannot trust her. The work was sloppy too. The jumpsuit hem has a visible stitch line, a snarl of thread in the middle, and puckering at the seam. All three items came back smelling of stale cigarette smoke and cat urine. Her workroom smells the same and the carpet is heavily stained.
