I was nervous to go to a laundromat when my dryer recently broke, because I had bad experiences…read moremany years ago when living in other areas. But this laundromat was amazing! I went before lunch on a Thursday, so it was the morning crowd. People were chatting with each other as they waited for the loads to finish. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There is no staff on site, but they have a phone number to call if you have any problems. While I was there, another company was repairing a light fixture. I'm guessing that the owners do not let repairs go long without being addressed as the rest of the facility was clean and in good working order. Each machine has a QR code which when scanned with a smartphone guides you to download an app and pay digitally. There are also two coin machines that take $1, $5, $10, and $20. The dryers cost 25 cents for 5 minutes. That might sound like a lot, but the dryers are amazing. I was able to fit two full loads from my washing machine at home into one dryer at this place. It was full of very wet towels, and it still only took 30 minutes for them to get completely dry. In fact, they were a little too hot, so I'm going to try only 25 minutes next time. That comes out to only $1.25 or $1.50 for enough clothes to fit in two domestic washing machines. The next time my washer or dryer breaks, I know exactly where I am going. I'm actually kind of looking forward to it :)

They also have a soap center that sells soap, bleach, softeners and laundry bags. There are Different sized machines washing so make sure you choose the row with a machine size you want. A wash ranges from $3 to $9.75 depending on machine size. Large dryers are on the walls and cost $1.75 for 30 minutes, or you can pay $0.75 for 10 minutes and then $0.25 for 10 minute increments. There are several folding tables for use and a full time attendant.

Today was my last day to ever come to this laundromat because the Black woman (and I'm Korean/American and one of the last person to be racist!) who works there was so absolutely rude to me that I will never go back. She started by telling me I should not put the soap in the front area of the soap holder or dispenser on the machine--I already knew that and so didn't respond because she always tells me not to do that every time I come in there. Her tone was very rude and seemed almost like she wanted to start something...? I ignored her and she basically said: Did you hear me, I'm talking to you! I have NEVER in my life, anywhere, been treated like that by an employee of a business. I replied, Yes, I know, you tell me that or something else every time I come in here. Then, to add insult to injury, she replied, Why do you keep putting the soap in the wrong place? So that pissed me off and I said, Look, I just want to do my laundry in peace and it appears you're picking on me for some reason. In short, we got into it and she ended up calling the police because we had a nasty verbal exchange. This is one of the rudest employees I've ever encountered in my life! It was almost as though she didn't like me personally for some reason and decided to reverse being a racist towards me. Again, I will never go there again. I just want to do my laundry and do not need an employee there harassing me while I'm doing my laundry. I don't talk to anyone and clean up my mess. I will be telling everyone I know NOT to go there. What a horrible place--no one needs the aggravation. No one.
