Maison Thai was born from a lifelong passion for Thai massage, a tradition passed down through my family. In Thailand, massage is part of everyday life — a way to care for one another and to connect. In small villages, neighbors often exchange massages, and it’s common to see people gathering at the local Buddhist temple to practice and share this healing art, sometimes even with the monks themselves. For us, Thai massage is more than a treatment — it’s an act of kindness, mindfulness, and community. After living for many years in Italy, I wanted to bring this beautiful part of Thai culture to Milan, creating a peaceful space where everyone can experience authentic Thai healing and hospitality.

Meet the Business Owner: Kankanchana Pannil P.

Hi, my name is Ong. I’m originally from Thailand. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics, but my true passion has always been the art of massage — a path I began pursuing professionally back in Thailand. I trained in several traditional Thai massage schools, and when I moved to Italy with my husband, I continued to follow this calling. After years of dedication and hard work, it felt only natural to open my own wellness center. And so, in September 2014, Maison Thai was born — the result of passion, perseverance, and the desire to share authentic Thai well-being here in Milan.
