I have shopped at Goyard stores all over the world, including the flagship in Paris. I have purchased Goyard from all over the world, including from decades ago when they used to be sold inside of Barneys, New York. The visit to this particular store was very disappointing. Although someone does greet you immediately after you pass the security at the front door the staff here could not be bothered with helping clients. It is unfortunate. I am not sure who is training them. I do not know what the culture is or if this is in fact, meeting the quality and service standards set for by the house of Goyard, but I find that hard to believe. Even though we did make a purchase, there was definitely no thank you pleasure helping you appreciate you and not one considerate or complementary word and or statement from anyone on the staff Let me be clear you can buy goyard all over the world in civilized locations and this is not the place to do so . read more

I was visiting Miami, and I had wanted to buy a GM St. Louis tote in the bright blue. I called them, but no one answers, so I emailed them, and they did respond right away confirming they had it. So, I went to the store and bought it; the first time a Goyard store didn't have a line and wasn't that busy. I walked right in, purchased it, and was out in 10 mins. I think I've written maybe 1 google review in my life however the service I received at this establishment is worthy of my time to do one. I bought a $2,400.00 bag on 11/29, it was sent out for monogramming to a store in NYC. I made it very clear that I needed the bag (which is my sons diaper bag) to take to the hospital on Jan. 7th for my sons birth. I called and texted my SA numerous times which was completely ignored by him. I called the store directly. No one answers. I emailed the store, no one replied. It wasn't until I called a store in NYC to inquire that I heard back from my SA. He promised the bag would be ready for pickup by 1/3/2025. "Great" I said. "Hold it there and I'll get it". My SA called out of work sick that day but did call me in the morning to inform me to ask for the store manager, Angel. When I went in to pick it up I was told by Angel that there was a lapse in communication and that it was already shipped out to my house. I will not be getting in time for my son's birth. I was told that the reason no one picks up the phone at Bal Harbor Goyard is because they are busy. If you read other reviews people say the same thing. You'd think that a luxury company like this would put customer service at the top of their priority list. Really is a shame. I will not be shopping at Goyard any longer read more

Have been putting off writing this review but was recently reminded of the terrible experience I had with Goyard here, and recommended my friend to instead order from any other boutique. I placed an order over email, sent all relevant info credit card, license, etc. took multiple days between responses from the Goyard team. After finally actually processing my order, and then waiting an additional day, I was informed they could not ship to another address. I gave a credit card & my license, but asked it be shipped to another location. During this discourse I asked the representative, well okay if I can't do that can we just change the shipping address to the one on my license/card, no help, no assistance. Another long wait time and telling me to refill out all of the info. Resend all my info, which was already in the email chain. Understanding processes and procedures, but extremely unresponsive, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in doing anything as a sales representative. I tell everyone I know to avoid shopping here. Absolute worst experience I've ever had, I'd rather be on a waitlist for 6 months for a brand that at least has some common courtesy. This location will never have my business, and anyone I know I will push to order from New York or elsewhere. read more

My first yelp review, but service was so terrible i had to make one. If i could give 0 stars i would. A couple of girlfriends and i were on vacation from la so we decided to do some shopping for our night out. My friend was in line for 30 minutes. Crazy we have to wait in line to give our money. (But I understand due to covid). The sales associate i think his name was Johnathon comes out and speaks to the line in such a rude tone. Telling us registers close at 6pm, and we are the last ones able to make a purchase, so already know what you want before we come in the store !! Laughable. The two ladies in front of us were very frustrated due to the long wait and the 3 women inside just taking their time walking around as they were closing soon. He starts speaking to them so rude with his HANDS in their face. I couldn't believe my eyes. He was about 6 foot swinging his hands telling them to back up and he's doing them a favor by letting them in!!!! Finally they let my friend & i inside. The first thing this man says is OKAY YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS QUICK WHAT DO YOU WANT ???? EXCUSE ME. HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO SOMEONE WHO IS SPENDING THOUSANDS ON A BAG THIS WAY. Us so caught off guard say excuse me you've had these same ladies sitting in here looking at the same bag for about an hour how about you hurry them up. He says well i'm doing you all a favor. How??? Absolutely horrible customer service. I visited the store about a month ago and was "greeted" by the so called security. I had simply walked over to one of the showcases to look at the already overpriced items when I was scolded to sit down and wait for an employee to help me. First of all we're both grown men and nobody will scold me and tell me to sit down. Second we waited over a half hour for anyone to assist us. Do not even attempt to shop at this store. If you enjoy poor service, terrible return/exchange policy, waiting in line, this store is for you. Store is locked and staffed with only 1 salespeople creating a line even when no customers are in the store. They don't apologize for making you wait or thank you for waiting. Salespeople are not helpful and act like they're doing you a favor. Hello, I don't need to work here to shop here. They only care about their commission; they don't accept returns so it's guaranteed. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT TAKING A PHOTO. They only added an online catalog at the start of the pandemic. Horrible customer service I walked in wanting to buy the PM bag in a specific color i asked for help some lady was assigned to help me I showed her a picture of what I wanted she said let me check in the back walked to the back for not even 1 second and walked right back out and said it was sold out I asked to see the different sizes and she showed me one other size she didn't want to bring out anymore bags to show me she was rolling her eyes and had a lot of attitude I went in there wanting to make a purchase and the way I got treated was horrible they act high class and mighty with the worst human decency. It's so unusual to see a Goyard store that you have to take advantage when you can. Because of COVID, they are only taking appointments. This actually was quite nice since we had the entire store to ourselves for the hour we were there. The selection was good, and we picked up a few things. Nothing to complain about aside from the slightly snooty sales person. That's pretty common in these kinds of store unfortunately. I think the key here is knowing the line, having an idea of what you want, and just enjoy checking everything out. read more

I own 3 Goyard bags that I've purchased in London and Monaco and I have never been treated as poorly as in this Miami store. I will never purchase one again and I suggest you walk over to Neiman Marcus and buy a bag. First of all, they never answer their phone. I called ten times as I was driving from my gulf beach home and wanted to make sure they had what I wanted. If they answered I could have made an appointment. Instead when I arrived the guard would not let me in. He said one customer at a time. THIS WAS AFTER COVID RESTRICTIONS WERE LIfTED. I saw three Customers . A couple and another woman with a filthy dog. The dog was walking around the store as the woman looked around. Gross. The couple left, I asked the guard why 3 people were in the store and he said one was working with a manager. I asked to see manager, he said nothing. I waited outside 45 minutes and finally was able to enter. I was not greeted. I walked around and asked for help seriously. I did not see the bag I wanted and asked about another. She said she had limited colors. At that point, I realized I was so mad I did not want the bag and walked out. If I'm spending $2600 you better be nice and if I'm a repeat customer you should be nicer. No more Goyard for me. By the way, my St Louis PM bag worn through the bottom. It's just painted cloth. I have purchased thousands in Goyard products over the years, but I could never support a brand as disgusting as Goyard ever again. Their products not only fall apart and are made of extremely poor quality and will not last the test of time, but you will also experience extremely poor treatment from staff and upper management at corporate. Read the rest of the reviews and spend your money else where. With a brand that prides them selves of zero advertisements and creates brand awareness by " exclusivity" and by "word of mouth" only, they are surely burning bridges left and right. read more

From reading the other reviews of this Goyard location, we were expecting a terrible experience. Instead, we were met with kindness and respect when we came into the store for a repair. There were three people on staff when we came in, and all three of them were eager to assist us, very kind and understanding. The customer service was fantastic. Important to note: we were only a party of two and came in on a Tuesday around 11am. There was no wait to enter the store and we had someone assisting us immediately. I understand that the store can get quite busy on weekends, so I would recommend coming during the week if you are able. Goyard products are something of a hot commodity at the moment, so if you're coming in on a weekend, it would make sense that there would be a long line to enter the store, especially if there are only a couple of staff members to assist a few customers at a time. read more

I had been eyeing out a Goyard tote for the last couple years, but had not had the opportunity to make it to a store since there are few locations and retailers/online purchases (except for Barneys) are non-existent. Since I found myself in Miami, I decided to take the plunge and pick up a new bag. Goyard was located on the ground floor near the parking garage and was easy to find. Usually when I pick up a new bag, I'm a little more put together, but since I was still in cruise mode I strolled in with a sundress and sandals. Right away, I was greeted by Yasenn. He asked if there was anything in particular that I was looking for. Since I already had a tote in mind, I requested to see the St. Louis, Anjou and the Voltaire. He quickly fetched the bags that I wanted to see and was informative on the material, features and care. I love that the Goyardine canvas is light, but durable. The design is classic and clean. After reviewing the totes that were brought out, I ended up requesting to see the Artois and the Marquise. I personally like bags with a little more structure and a zipper for privacy/security. I would have happily picked up both, but the Artois was the most versatile. I did not get it personalized since I wanted to walk out with it same day. Yasenn was a great help and made me feel like a valued customer. I've used the tote on two business trips so far and could not be more pleased. read more

I have never been treated as poorly at any retail establishment in my life! My wife and I went to the store at Bal Harbour to purchase a bag for her for Mother's Day. The front door was locked (should be a fire code violation for locked doors during business hours) and the Lee was a disinterested and rude security guard ignoring my request to enter the store. I knocked on the door and he opened it and said only one party was allowed in the store at a time. He then shit and locked the door when I was in mid sentence asking if we could browse. I knocked again and he said no one's coming in and locked the door in my face again. I knocked on the door again and asked for the manager. He laughed in my face through the door window and ignored me. Rude, disrespectful, ignorant and a great way to never have me or anyone I know as a customer! If I owned this store or any others I would require every employee to go through customer service basic training! Especially considering your trying to sell $3,000 bags!! I appreciate anyone who will challenge me on my choice of colors by offering some alternatives, especially when I end up picking one of the ones he recommended and I'm glad I did. Even though there were a few people in the store, Phillip went out of his way to acknowledge us, thank us for our patience, and then gave us 100% of his attention once he was finished with the previous customer. I have been wanting one of their bags. My husband and I are here for business and I was excited they had a store here. He wanted to get me the bag I've wanted for Mother's Day. When we arrived the door was locked and the security guard said we have people here then shut the door in our face. He was very rude. My husband tried to ask him a question and he wouldn't answer then shut the door in his face and locked it again. I was so surprised how unnecessary the rude behavior from this security guard was. My husband purchased a handbag for me at Christmas. He spoke to Benjamin at the Bal Harbour store and specifically asked if it could be exchanged if I didn't like the color. He was told yes as long as the handbag was in retail condition and original packaging. After numerous calls and emails trying to reach Benjamin (with no luck), my husband spoke to a lady at the store and she said they won't do an exchange and accused my husband of lying about his conversation w Benjamin. I am honestly so disappointed with my experience. Prior to visiting the boutique, I watched numerous youtube videos of women sharing their thoughts and comparisons of the St. Louis bag. I was so looking forward to visiting the Goyard store in Bal Harbour seeing as though there are not many boutiques in the country and we are so fortunate to have a location in Miami. I originally intended to purchase the PM size only to realize it was much smaller in person than I had seen online. The sales professional only showed me the St. Louis collection...didn't care to show me anything more and came off very uninterested once I said that I wanted to take some time to think about the GM size. When I asked what color stripes he would recommend for the green color, his response was so indifferent as he texted on his phone. He didn't take my information down and I had to ask for his business card. Three days later I placed an order for the GM size. When I went to pick up my bag I thought I would get advice from another sales professional on cool colors for personalization. She literally told me to google it. Unbelievable. I had the worst experience at Madison Goyard in Bal Harbour. I arrived late Saturday afternoon and the guard at the door told me that I'd have to wait. I was wearing a mask, but he was not. There was only one person in the store. I asked him why I had to wait. He said that it was a COVID protocol. I asked him why he wasn't wearing a mask and why the customer inside was maskless. He shouted an expletive and yelled, "this is Florida __!" He told me I couldn't come in! He told me never to return to the store. I have been a good customer there. read more

My wife bought a purse there and paid $300 to put her initials on it. The initials peeled off after a few months. When we brought the purse in to have the initials repaired or removed, the manager claimed that they could do nothing and that the damaged initials "added character". I had a wonderful experience at this boutique thanks to Mr. Phillip Martin. I purchased two GM totes while I was on vacation in Milan. Once I got home in Miami, I realized one of the small pouches didn't have the Goyard symbol on the front. Phillip greeted me warmly and took care of me right away. He brought out two totes for me to select from but I didn't like neither one. Phillip didn't get annoyed with me and brought out the rest of the stock. He patiently helped me select one that I was pleased with. I appreciate his level of customer service so much. He didn't make any commission on the exchange; however he took such good care of me the way he would if he was making the sale. If you decide to shop at this location, ask for Phillip. Well I thought I would have had a different experience ... since when I went to buy the handbag the experience was awesome .... so apparently cracking on a tote is normal and you can get it fixed if you pay to replace it ... mind you the purse is only a 1 and a half old .... so I have to pay to get it .... I don't want to pay for something that will get ugly again .... so I have to keep coming back n replace my handles so they can look new while the rest of the purse is old ..... why not just give a credit and I would have payed more if I had to for a new item .... at the end of the day it's not a 300 dollar bag that should be cracking it's 2000 and I buy purse and I have never had this service or this happen for that matter with a expensive purse read more
