He promised to assess the condition of the house and all of its systems. Boris made a long list and he showed us positives and negatives with details on the faults. There were numerous problems with my small bathroom renovation, including damaging two bathtubs and very poor attention to detail and lack of meticulousness. After my first bath in my new, albeit damaged tub, I discovered water on my kitchen counter - he didn't tighten the flange in the bottom of the tub so I ended up with bathwater running under the tub and down inside the kitchen wall and running out the electrical outlet in the kitchen. I wouldn't recommend this company!! I don't know how he got good references, but I'm not going to be one of them!! Jackie W. Barrie, ON 705-717-9117

So when it comes to the home inspection phase, it really helps to be working with a professional that navigates the process with empathy and integrity, and who can explain the details in clear, layperson's terms. In our case, we needed both a general home and WETT (fireplace) inspection. On the big day, Peter welcomed us, explained what he'd be doing, went over the forms and showed us what tools he'd be using, and then walked through his findings in a way that made sense. We never felt rushed, always felt like we could ask questions, and it was clear that he was as committed to transparency as we were. Incredibly professional and human from start to finish. We cannot recommend Peter and Buyer Aware highly enough.
