I have used Dr. Burke's practice to remove broken red capillaries on my face, hair removal on my arms, and had "smoker's lines" filled . In all cases, I was satisfied with the results. I do wish the procedures were not as expensive as they are, as I would utilize his services more frequently if the cost were lower. There are several procedures I would like to access; and, those I am fully aware do not come with lasting results (e.g., red capillary removal), I would have repeated more often or, on other areas of my body could I afford to do so. That said, I use the generous discounts provided to clients by Dr. Burke and, usually see him at least once a year with my war on aging! Cyndi Gagne read more

I am a long time (6 yrs.) patient of Dr. Burke. I have yearly laser treatments to remove broken capillaries & age related sun spots on the face. My most recent procedure was the fraxel laser skin treatment & I am delighted with the results. I find Dr. Burke to be friendly, caring, knowledgeable & cautious in his approach to my concerns. I appreciate that he regularly attends conferences to upgrade & enhance his knowledge & skills & he shares new information with his patients on a regular basis. I use his skincare products daily & again I am delighted with the products & the results. Dr. Burke & his fabulous staff provide a valuable service. Regards, Jenn read more

Dr. Burke is a kind, gentle man extremely well educated and knowledgable in all aspects of skin care and modern day procedures to help those who want to retain their youth or clear up skin conditions they may have. Also, his assistant Becky is best! She's terrific and will make you feel welcome the moment you arrive with her upbeat bubbly personality. She's very well informed about the procedures the clinic has to offer as well as their entire line of excellent skin care products. I look forward to my next appt. at their new Augusta location. If you are incredibly particular about who touches your face, save yourself the time and research and just book with Dr. Shannon at Mainstay Skincare. I go to her regularly for Botox and filler, and her background as an ENT and facial trauma surgeon makes her uniquely qualified. She understands facial anatomy on a level that standard injectors simply can't match. My results are always perfectly balanced and beautiful. I trust her opinion 100%. She is a master of her craft, a wonderful person, and the definition of a medical expert. If it allowed me to give her 10 stars I would. A+++++ read more

Top notch practice! Dr. Burke and his assistant, Becky, are truly wonderful and knowledgeable people. Matter of fact, everyone you meet at Maine Laser Skin care is very welcoming and friendly. It is a very informative, focused, and comfortable atmosphere. (Very important to this reviewer!) I've had a few different procedures done, with Fraxel laser being the main focus. It's a less invasive procedure that really rejuvenated my skin and the healing response was quick as the new collagen developed. I found it to be highly effective and was more than pleased with the results. read more

I ordered a skin care cream as a gift for my sister-in-law. It arrived promptly with no fuss at all. I received a discount I hadn't expected, and as if that weren't enough, the package also contained samples of two other products that, together with the product I ordered, form a treatment regimen. My sister-in-law was thrilled! read more
