Archadeck was contracted to rebuild a third-floor balcony for our Wiscasset Maine condo. There were…read morea couple issues with this project because of the very unusual construction of the previous balcony. A portion of that balcony was literally the ceiling of the unit below us. Beyond that, the siding on the building was no longer available and the support system had to be changed. Jesse had assured me that TJ would do whatever was necessary to finish the job to our satisfaction. He did just that despite the fact that it took more time than anticipated and a couple extra trips back to the work site. TJ and Jesse have an open invitation to join us for a glass of wine and some appetizers on our balcony if they make it back to Wiscasset. David Brown

I highly recommend Archadeck of Central Maine. The carpenter, Garret, except for a few hours on the…read morefirst carpentry day and the entire last day, worked on this by himself. He did a phenomenal job! On the last day he was joined by Preston and he did a great job as well. This project had some unique elements. First, was the slope of the ground. Second, was the design. The lower deck was designed to hold a hot tub (not shown here) to be accessed from the upper deck in the area between the two railings. One whole side of the upper deck remained without a railing as I wanted deck access to be at any point along the footpath. It'll be my task to backfill the gap between the deck surface and the footpath. Total number of days worked on this project was six (6). TJ and Jessi are easy to work with and the cost was very reasonable. We are THRILLED with the results!!

We had such a good experience working with Ryan. We tore down an existing retaining wall which was…read moreold, crumbling and did not have proper drainage. Ryan rebuilt the wall using all the proper materials to ensure the wall will last for many years to come. It looks beautiful and we are very pleased with the result. Ryan kept us on track with the work and with the cost and timing of the project. His communication was excellent, even to the point of letting us know when he was on his way to our house. Ryan was always well mannered and hard working. We highly recommend Ryan Messinger for all hardscape and landscape work. Thank you Ryan. Hope to work with you again on future projects.

Pebblebrook built our modest, but awesome, shore-front home in Lamoine last year. Tony and…read moreElizabeth worked with us every step of the way and listened attentively as we described what we wanted built. They exceeded our expectations by several notches and completed the project on time and within budget. Tony prides himself on his craftsmanship and everyone who visits the home is impressed by the quality and detail of the workmanship. Tony is very hands-on and oversaw every detail, every step of the way. And Elizabeth worked closely with my wife in obtaining appliances, selecting paint, granite, textures and just about everything that makes a house a home. Just as importantly, they proved their integrity several times in different situations where we could have easily been misled with no chance whatsoever of us ever finding out about it. Integrity and honestly are words not often used to describe contractors these days, but Tony and Elizabeth are the real deal. We love our new home and hope to contract with Pebblebrook again with future projects.

This business is not worth your time or money. I had to get the local police involved, Ken Crump started harassing me and threatened to come take the chimney liner back, accused me of burning green wood, this is two days after the installation He knows I only burn hard wood that has been seasoned for at least two years. I told him I did not like the repointing of my chimney that he attempted, that it is ugly and unprofessional, it angered him tremendously, then he starts telling everyone I am angered because he said he didn't want to be romantically involved with me!! He really is a grotesque person who should not be serving the public, especially single women. And then my wife and I go away for the winter. So there were no cars driving on the driveway. And the plow guy plowed it twice. When we returned to our home in the early spring, we found that all the sealcoating had come off of the driveway. William Stanley the owner of the company, refuses to do anything about it. Seems to me that sealcoating should last more than 6 months. Especially when nobody drives on it. And there was no salt or any other chemical applied to the driveway. Please, do not use this company. There are other companies out there that I'm sure would honor their work. If I could have put zero Stars I would have. But you have to give at least a one-star.
