He was very nice, seeing as we should've known when check in was already. When we met Sam and Judy, they were extremely hospitable and kind. Asking if there were any dietary restrictions for the breakfast, showing us our room and bathroom, and just making us feel at home. The place was spotlessly clean, and very nicely decorated. After being shown around, my man and I prepared to go for a hike. We found that there was no lock on the bedroom door, but I pointed out that it was a Bed and Breakfast, and there was a lock with a combination on the main door to the place itself. I wasn't too worried about the one other couple that was staying there, and I trusted the owners since this IS their business. They aren't going to be snooping through our stuff or stealing or they wouldn't still be in business. The bathroom for our room was huge, and the bedroom was comfy. The bed is really my only complaint. It wasn't very comfortable, and must've had a bedbug cover or something similar over the mattress, since I woke up with my back sweating a few times. But neither I nor my man were feeling very well for some reason on this day, so I don't know if a comfier bed would've made much of a difference. The breakfast the next morning was enjoyable and filling. Being a small Bed and Breakfast, the only time allotted for breakfast was 8 AM. This probably would've been a problem if we weren't planning on leaving pretty early to head to Moab the next day anyway, as I can't usually stomach breakfast until around 9 AM. So be prepared for an early, but really good, breakfast. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. The ambiance, food and lovely owners greatly outweighed the cost of a night's stay.

Small companies almost always have weaker security, privacy controls, and oversight. Your data may be shared with third-party vendors or service providers. You may have limited ability to verify whether your data was actually deleted. Keep in mind that identity theft can take years to fix. Everything is keyless (no front desk!), and you use your phone for entry and concierge contact. Super modern and smooth from check-in to checkout. The first night felt almost eerie... like I was the only guest! It was that quiet. I wandered around downtown, grabbed dinner, and when I came back, I started seeing a few other people. The outdoor area was a gem--relaxing by the firepit under the glow of the neon rose sign was the perfect way to unwind. Parking is conveniently located in the lot to the left of the building. It's paid, but easy to use through the app--averaging about $10 a day. By the second night, the energy picked up a bit. The bar onsite had opened--but closed before I could make it back out. Thankfully, on my final night, I caught the last 30 minutes and got to enjoy two fantastic cocktails served in these fun, festive ceramic mugs. The drinks felt handmade, and the bartenders were super friendly. Lots of guests and even locals seemed to enjoy the outdoor space with drinks in hand, which gave it a relaxed, social vibe. Inside, I stayed in a double room--huge, clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, and I appreciated having a fridge and coffee pot. The only tiny hiccup: it took me a bit to locate the outlets, but once I did, all good! We're actually heading back over the 4th of July weekend and booked a smaller room this time to compare. I'm hoping we can make it back in time to enjoy the cocktail bar again--though I do wish their hours were a bit longer. It closes pretty early, and it's definitely a feature worth lingering over. I really like this style of hotel. It feels like a mix between a traditional hotel and an Airbnb. Airbnbs have become so expensive, and while regular hotels are convenient, you still have to park, go through the building, take the elevator, and walk down the hall to your room. Here, you can park right outside your door and walk straight in, which made traveling so much easier. The outdoor area was a nice bonus, especially if you're traveling with a dog. There's a grassy area with waste bags, a fire pit, and cornhole boards, making it a relaxing place to hang out. It was very pet-friendly. My only suggestions would be to add blackout curtains, as the room gets bright early in the morning, and we did notice a few gnats in the bathroom, which I assume were coming from the drains. July 19, 2026 - Clifton, CO…read more RV Ranch at Grand Junction (in Clifton) is a bit of a mixed bag. We stayed for a week, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The rates are reasonable, the park is well maintained, and the staff was exceptionally helpful and responsive. The laundry room was spotless, and all of the machines worked well. The only frustration was the credit card payment system. One day it worked perfectly; the next it repeatedly gave me "card read error" messages before timing out. It may have been a Wi-Fi issue, but it made doing laundry more difficult than it should have been. We had a premium back-in site, which was level and included a small grassy area, trees, a picnic table, and full hookups. Unfortunately, our site backed directly up to a busy car wash. If possible, I'd avoid sites 118-127. They're adjacent to the frontage road along I-70, so there's a fair amount of highway noise, and the nearby railroad tracks meant train horns woke us up every night. Before booking, take a close look at the campground map (I've included a photo). Also note that some sites are "double-parked," meaning you're parked directly beside another RV with usable outdoor space on only one side. The grounds are attractive and well cared for. Amenities include horseshoe pits, a volleyball/badminton area, a playground, two fenced dog parks, and a swimming pool. The pool was welcome during the hot weather, but it is fairly small and was often packed with people and oversized floaties, making it feel crowded. There are quite a few long-term residents, and everyone we met was friendly. One thing that did confuse me, however, was the park's pet policy. The reservation information specifically stated that outside pet fences and exercise pens were not allowed, yet many long-term sites had pet fences set up. It would be helpful if the rules clarified whether there are exceptions for extended-stay guests. In the end, I gave RV Ranch at Grand Junction 4 stars. While the noise and a few inconsistencies kept it from being a five-star stay, the clean facilities, well-maintained grounds, reasonable rates, and especially the friendly, responsive staff made it an enjoyable place to spend a week.
