They have no books to look in and were AWFULLY rude. I guess the joke is on them because I need $1000s worth of work. Go to the Magic Rooster. I've gotten two tattoos from two different artists here. Ashley is so kind and considerate. It was dead winter and she had blankets for me while I was almost pants-less on the table lol. She worked with my original drawing for my thigh piece and I have no complains. Lexx just did a chest/sternum piece for me. Literally the least painful tattoo I've gotten. Her hand was as gentle as kittens on clouds. I was nervous it would hurt but she was wonderful. She took my design and made it look amazing. Great detail and line work. I did my research. Looked at hundreds of pics (because I've had ENOUGH bad tattoos!) and even though I live in NC, I decided THIS was where I wanted my next tattoo done. My artist was Jason. a very pleasant, professional man (who was not at ALL "slimey", like -in my experience- I have found the majority of male tattoo artists to be). I made an appointment for the next day. Drove almost three hours and IT WAS WORTH IT!!! Exceptional work, great conversation, zero pain, perfect professionalism. She made sure I was comfortable and as relaxed as I could be before she started and to be honest I really didn't feel much of anything during the process. Very clean place and professional folks. Jessica answered all of my questions and made sure I was informed about aftercare and ensured me that she would be available for any questions that may arise during healing. We were visiting Greenville and spontaneously decided to get tattoos but had no knowledge of the area's tattoo parlors. I was very nervous to get my first tattoo, but I had an amazing experience. Susan was very reassuring and she followed the picture I sent almost perfectly. My tattoo (it's a bumblebee) turned out better than I could have hoped! Everyone I talked to was really nice and the shop was clean and organized. Susan made sure to show me that the needle and other equipment was brand new, which helped my nerves. Main Street is the absolute best! The first time I that I went in was about a year ago. I had a tribal tattoo on my arm that I'd had for years and I wanted it covered up with colorful flowers. I wasn't sure if it could be done or what the results would look like. I met Lindsey and she said that she could do it. Her work is beyond amazing! I love it so much that she's making it into a half-sleeve. Lindsey took a picture of a rose that my husband had given me and made it the centerpiece of my tattoo...it looks exactly like the picture! She has also re-touched several of my other tattoos (that I had gotten years ago at other shops) and made them look ten times better than when they were brand new! All of the artists at Main Street do incredible work and both shops are the cleanest, nicest around!
