Stopped here on my way home and was very surprised. Very nice people and the food was great. I had the Pitts burger with potato salad. This burger has bacon, fried egg, peanut butter and American cheese with a good wholesome patty. Very tasty and hit the spot!

Hot sandwiches on the menu are panini style.

This spot was a nice break during a long road trip. Exiting from Hwy 94, there was nothing but truck stops and chain restaurants like McDonald's and Subway. A short drive to the Main Street Grind was a world away, with a small-town feel and freshly made food. There's a big patio outside, and a nicely air-conditioned and roomy dining space inside. The restaurant seemed very clean. We had the burger, a Cowgirl on multigrain bread and a General panini. All were tasty and fresh. The best part for me was the drive through a bit more of Miles City to get back to the highway. We went over a scenic river and past a big park, without a truck stop anywhere in sight!

Stopped here on day 4 of a 5-day road trip to Yellowstone and got the best meal I've had on the road so far. I got the adult grilled cheese (sans sprouts because I hate them) on artisan bread and I was tempted to get a second one to go! One of the employees tried to charge us a dollar for hot water even though regular water was free, which was kind of odd. Another employee gave it to us for free no problem though, so maybe they were just having a bad day. If you're passing through, definitely take the opportunity to get lunch and a good sandwich for the road! read more

Stopped here for lunch when passing by Miles City. Our daughter is vegan, so choices were limited, and so glad because as a result we found this gem! Great fresh sandwiches. Everything looks home made, from soup to desserts. Highly recommend! read more

You'll pay for a 16 ounce coffee or larger even if you want a 12 ounce( I use a reusable 12). They tell you it's the same cost as the 16; well of course it is! I'm not getting the same good vibe as I used to coming through the area. Glendive and Billings Montana are now better stops. read more

The place is quaint and spacious. Very nicely done. I got some banana-white-chocolate coffee drink and loved every sip of it. The sandwiches are priced in a way to be expected from a bistro on a main street, but worth it. Sprouts are awesome. And that thick bread can be tough to tangle with sometimes but it was baked perfectly. A step up from the Cellar Casino that occupied the spot before burning down, despite how good their pizza was. read more

I'm a simple city boy with simple country tastes. We passed through Historic Main Street Miles City and just had to stop on by. Had a pint and burger for lunch. The burger had two 1/4 pound patties stacked on a small bun. It's safe to say one would've sufficed. It was impossible to eat it like a normal burger so I turned it into two open faced burgers an gave my friend half. The beer was from a microbrew. Delicious. My friends both ordered sandwiches and were quite satisfied. They also allow dogs as we saw a giant furry dog taking refuge from the 111 degree heat. It was about $25 for three sandwiches and 3 beers. Not really sure what else Miles City has to offer as we were just passing through. Feel the Minnesota Nice all the way in Montana. read more

This is by far my favorite place to eat in Miles. They have great coffee, wonderful service, deliciously AMAZING food, and incredibly friendly and kind staff. I have never eaten anything I don't enjoy and there is always something new to try. Additionally, they bake their own bread and have fabulous homemade desserts. Also, the prices are so low for the quality of food and service you receive. Definitely recommend going there! read more

Yummy food. Friendly staff. Spacious seating. I've eaten here twice (so far) and hope I have time to squeeze in a couple more visits. First visit was for brunch with my hubby. Good coffee with free refills. They even had a honey bear with local honey in it for us to use to sweeten our coffee. My cinnamon roll was delicious. I had it warmed up and it was perfect. Second visit was for lunch. I had a burger with a side of potato salad. I can not for the life of me remember the name of the burger, but it was the one with the peanut butter on it. Don't knock it til you try it. It was fantastic. I've eaten at a handful of places while staying in Miles City and Main Street Grind is my absolute favorite. read more

Great little sandwich place. I had a veggie - called the Saint - piled high with fresh, crisp veggies on my choice of bread. The artesian looked fabulous but trying to be healthy, I opted for whole grain. Hit the spot. The atmosphere is hip, clean, counter service and menu written on blackboard. They support local - or neighborly - vendors like the makers of the huckleberry lemonade I tried. Reasonably priced and quick, but I was there well after the lunch crowd so I can't speak to their service during peak lunch hours. I will stop on my next trip through Miles City. read more

We were driving through on our way to ND for Easter. I went on YELP to find a new place in Mile City. I found Main Street Grind and we decided stop in for a quick breakfast and WOW! We had a wonderful meal but best of all, there was fresh, hot out of the oven dinner rolls. We bought three dozen to take with us to share with our family for Easter. The very friendly staff bagged them up for us after we were done eating. They were delicious, everyone loved them! We will definitely stop again! Thank you very much! read more

The food tasted fine and enjoyable in that respect. The prices are a bit ridiculous. 8.50 for just a sandwich and no chips or drink or pickle spear. That's really high! Also customer service is terrible! Try smiling once. It might help to get return customers. I wouldn't recommend this establishment. read more

We got off the highway hoping to eat at another sandwich shop - but it wasn't there! A local who was there (now a coffee shop) recommended this place instead. I really loved Main Street Grind. The atmosphere is great, the sandwiches were fresh and the bread was out of this world! I had the cowgirl on ciabatta bread (see photo), James had the cowboy on the same. Both were delicious. My daughters shared a PB&J on white - that was the best bread! My son created his own ham and cheese with all his favorite ingredients - you can choose their combos or make your own. The kids wouldn't let us leave without seeing what was in the "upstairs". 2 couch type seating areas and some more tables. They might have wifi there because a kid was on his computer up there. Bathrooms super clean as well as the whole restaurant/bakery. Lunch on Friday and there were lots of people to watch. Everyone working there was very friendly too. I hope this newer place does well. I looked it up online and it seems it was built in place of a row of buildings that had a fire. We will be back on our next road-trip to MT. read more

We had MSG cater our wedding and the food and service was fantastic. Best wedding food ever! They shook things up a bit and created fire baked pizzas with a large bbq which they brought in after the ceremony for the reception. In addition they made 3 types of mini pies instead of traditional cake that were seriously delicious pies. The other side dishes were also fantastic and included kabobs with steak, chicken and all sorts of veggies as well as some vegan kabobs with tofu for the vegan bride. A couple of great salads and the usual awesome bread rounded everything out. Everyone was happy with the food at this wedding! I would recommend Pete and Megan at MSG for just about any catering needs in or near Miles City. Their regular food at MSG on Main St. is also wonderful and their staff is always pleasant. read more

SLOW! I get that Montana doesn't move at the speed of any city, but we walked into a coffee shop with no customers and waited almost 30 minutes for drinks. Including hot water for my elderly aunt's tea. The staff was cranky and were not ready for people who needed silverware. The coffee was good when it came, but the wait... Glad they weren't busy. read more

When he brought my glass of ice, he brought my husband a glass of iced tea instead of Diet Coke. Bless his heart, he was probably never even trained. I won't be back to this restaurant for breakfast or lunch; or even to shop. This entire experience was dreadful and sad. This is just another inconsistent, disappointing, overpriced, bad restaurant in Miles City. IS THERE A DECENT RESTAURANT IN MILES CITY? I'm losing hope!

Jumped in the drive through line, hoping to get our sammies. Took them 22 minutes to get through the 2 cars in front of us. Looked like a total of 6 sandwiches. Thought it was possible that they were short staffed, possibly just 1 person. As we pulled up to the window, we could see there were at least 3 people working. The bar top has old pinball parts encased inside it. There are also a few pinball games to play. We stopped for a quick flight and some food. We ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich. It was served up with pepper Jack cheese, onion rings, bbq sauce and remoulade sauce. The sandwich was delicious but the side of Mac and cheese that we got with it was like warm at best and dry.. next time we'll go for the French fries. Our server was fantastic, he had a great personality and checked in on us to make sure everything was good.
