On December 18, 2025, around 12:00 PM, I took my Lexus RX 350 to this car wash. During the wash, their employee caused serious damage to my vehicle while driving it. The entire front bumper was badly damaged, and there were multiple deep scratches on other parts of the car. This was not minor damage -- the vehicle required significant repairs and was not drivable in proper condition. I immediately spoke with the manager, Aristeo, but he refused to take responsibility. He stated that the business would only offer $200 in compensation, which is completely unreasonable given the extent of the damage. He then told me, "If you want the $200, come get it. If not, don't call me again." This behavior was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I requested the full name of the employee who was operating my vehicle at the time of the incident, but Manager Aristeo refused to provide it, which raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. This car wash usually charges $15, but on that day the employee demanded $20, and the final charge with tax was even higher. After damaging my vehicle, they showed no responsibility, no professionalism, and no respect for customers. I have the receipt as proof, which shows the service was provided on December 18, 2025 at 12:18 PM by Main Street CW Corp. The total charge was $27.01, not the usual $15. This clearly confirms that my vehicle was under their care at the time the damage occurred. This is a dishonest and irresponsible business with poor management. I strongly warn others not to use this car wash unless you are willing to risk serious damage to your vehicle with no fair compensation. I am sharing this experience to warn and protect other customers. read more

This place was fast and clean. Price was very reasonable. The people were courteous and helpful.

they will eventually wash your car after their upsell on services, all rendered in what may pass for English in Central America but does not pass muster in Westchester County, alas, the way of the world. &, btw, if your car has auto-folding mirrors, they will happily force close them before car is allowed to enter, they care not or know not, they are automatic & will break them. I have the receipts. read more

We waited for at least 20 minutes to get into the car wash. When we got to the front of the line we were ushered to th)e left side of the entrance where two guys vacuumed the inside of the car a little bit and took out the floor mats to hit outside of the car. That was the extent of the cleaning done inside, which was not thorough at all. Then the car was driven back into line to go through the car wash. The guys started with spraying the car with soap and water. They then used brooms/brushes to spread the soap around. Then the car moved automatically through the rest of the car wash. We were able to go inside to watch the car as it went through the car wash. At first, we'd thought the car wash was decent for the price. However upon further inspection we found many scratches on the drive side door. We suspect it was made from the brushes used when spreading around the soap. Also when we touched the surface of the car it felt a little gritty and there were definitely spots that were still dirty. So, net net, we'll save our money next time. We won't be back. read more

Decent car wash. I like the fact that you have wash package options to add more services to your wash if you so desire. You can add a hot wax, tire shine, armor all protectant, carpet wash and so on. Your car gets a thorough soaking as the travel from one end to the other is pretty lengthy compared to other car wash places. A quick note, always check your bumper covers to make sure the little access panels are still attached before driving off, they can fall off during the wash and are taped by the wash Crew before going through the wash. One big plus is that they offer a night wash after 7pm for the exterior of the car only, so you need to stay inside with your car and ride your car in neutral to the finish line. The price is heavily discounted and cash only during this time. They offer multi car wash coupon discount books that can be purchased during regular hours. The car wash has many detailing and car accessories for sale. There is also a bathroom inside for patrons to use. The final assessment is you get a decent wash for the price, you have to be realistic and know your car will not be showroom clean and expect all your months and dare I say years of caked up and dry coffee stains and fast food on your dash, interior door panels and cup holders to miraculously disappear and complain when it's still there. It's a basic car wash still. You will need to pay much more for that service to remove all the gunk inside. Remember, you get what you pay for. read more

I only do exterior car wash here. For a SUV, with tax comes, out to $18 for exterior only car wash. Gets the job done but it on the pricier side. They accept card card here if you come from 7 am to 7 pm. You leave your car and enter to pay but you are able to see your car as it progresses through the car wash. This is by far the worst car wash ever. They do a terrible job, bad customer service and just straight up rude. Also they sell air fresheners that are way past shelflife that pretty much deteriorates as you take it out of the packaging. Purchase and air freshener opened it up basically the lady in the front register it falling apart I only asked for an exchange and was denied. This is by far the worst customer service. Also had the car wash and still had bird poop on the side of the car. I paid for full service wash and they didn't even clean the inside of the car windows. However still the worst is the service and the register lady in the front unwillingness to help or care. read more

My dad told me about Main St Car Wash multiple times and I finally brought my car here for a deep wash. I went in the morning around 10am and surprisingly there were not many cars. Usually when I drive by, there are a lot of cars waiting around the block. I told them what I was most concerned about regarding the wash and they recommended I go with the deep cleaning. It came out to ~$22 and the whole car wash with wax and interior cleaning was done. I thought they did a pretty good job. The car wash itself is very long and the whole process took about 15-20mins. I recommend coming here for all future car washes! Tip- if you come here after 7pm, their outside wash is only $10! A great bargain. read more

This is a machine car wash that opens for full service, with vacuuming, at 7:00 a.m. daily. If you're earlier, you can pay cash for the exterior only wash. I generally opt to come at 7 a.m. in order to avoid the long lines of vehicles that usually block an entire lane on Main Street. This place is convenient, close to home, and I usually buy the "booklet" to save a couple of bucks. Tire shine all the way! read more

I asked for full detailing of the car with a wash/wax/rims (all included). Unfortunately, when I got my car back, the seat adjustment stopped working, and my driver's side airbag sign is on. I paid them the price the requested. For the last two weeks, I still have terrible suffocating smell of washing fluid (?windex) in my car. The seat adjustment couple of days later started working, but intermittently it stops working. I think they flooded with wires/connections underneath the seat. I will not come back to them for this level of service. ' and by the way, when I asked them about my seat adjustment their response was that it was like that when I gave them the car read more

I've only gotten the exterior cleaned. I personally would like to do the interior myself. If you come between 7pm to 7am, it's a lot cheaper but CASH ONLY. You get to sit inside and watch the magic happen though. I like to play my music all the way up while my car gets cleaned. Decent job for exterior clean but the waiting lines of cars can be pretty long. For my SUV, the exterior was 8 dollars and I gave 2 dollars to tip. (Price on 10/28/17) read more

This car wash deserves a zero rating, the crew and the manager are rude, lazy, disrespectful if you don't pay attention they fill forego complete vacuum and will forget to polish your wheels, lot of people to work but very unorganized and unethical work practices. The car wash blocks the traffic on the Main Street and creates a jam. should be uprooted from the neighborhoo. read more

Come to this place after 7pm, for like $15, the outside of your car will look amazing. For the inside they don't do much, but at the end of the day, the wash they put your car through, has it looking brand new. It's so clear and beautiful I love looking at my car every-time I come. Especially now with the salt and snow in the street, i really want to go by this place again, best car wash I've been to. read more

When I went, there was a line that went down the block. That told me that this place had to be somewhat credible and reassured my decision to give this place a try. I had a relatively decent experience at this car wash. For the price, I think you receive good service. I liked how the staff scrubs down your car before it goes through the conveyor belt of sprays and waxes. I paid for the most premium wash and my car came out very shiny and with no visible dirt left over. I also appreciate the staff using microfiber towels to wipe the inside of my windows to remove any fingerprints. read more

Main Street Car Wash - My broken pomper that main Street car wash broke !!! - Car Wash Near Me - Flushing, New York

Only somewhat gets the job done. I'm not that impressed by their service here, especially, when they ram your car onto the tracks for the wash. They are able to clean it to a point where is it acceptable. However, the amount of details they put into it does not satisfy a regular customer like me. The guys that work here are rough and fast. I can see why they may work they do, because there is always a line that wraps around the corner. Even though I'm not as satisfied with their job anymore, they can still get the job done. They also offer loyalty programs where you can purchase a card, and on your 7th wash, it is free. There are probably better car wash out there at a comparable price. I only come here when I'm around the neighborhood and I have the time to wait on line for a car wash. The process: 1. Wait in line with your car 2. When it is your turn, tell them which service you want and whether you want your rubber mats to be washed or not (like ~$4 extra) 3. Take your ticket and pay inside, where the counter is 4. Wait for your car to come out the machine 5. Let them roughly and quickly wipe your car down 6. Hand your ticket in to retrieve your car read more

You get the service you pay for. I have came here a few times now. Twice paying full price and once paying the night (after 7pm) special. When you come here after 7pm, expect long lines especially during winter time. Afterall , it's only $7 at night, that's a bargain! I paid regular price for the superwash, I have a SUV so paid $16 after tax, which is pricy in my opinion, but I rather pay $16 than $7 and have to wait on a car line that is at least 2-3 blocks long.... That's how popular it gets after 7pm. If you have patience and time to kill, go after 7pm so it'll only cost you $7. The quality is good, its a carwash, they wash your car and they get a 5 star because they do what they're suppose to and they do it well. I would definitely come here again. I do drive by here almost every other day, I'd suggest if you want the wash for $7, you better come right when it hits 7pm. read more

Wanted to add only 1/2 star, but this is the best we can do - round it up. Went back a few days ago, since I have some pre-paid washes left, and got a little better service this time. Wonder if it was because it was early morning and there was no rush of cars getting in. Car got cleaned & wiped down, wheels got their ArmorAll but the one thing lacking that they used to be really good about is letting the customer know that the car was ready to go. Guy walked away & I had to yell out to him 'Finished?" I was standing right behind the car, what's so hard about giving me a wave or Hi sign? read more

If you want your luxury vehicle destroyed, this is the car wash for you. I opted for the leather interior detailing, I have a brand new amg mercedes, and they utterly destroyed my interior. I cannot get it replaced to the level that the factory has provided the leather, and they offered no recourse when I called them. If you have a cheap car, go get the exterior, you'll get nice swirls on the outside as well. But if you hate your brand new luxury vehicle, come here. read more

I have been to this car wash several times and they always have to re-clean my floor mats. I went recently went on 9/15 because I parked under a tree and the top of the car and small areas on the car had small stains from the tree dropping. The car wash was unable to remove it completely and I spoke with the manager Ardastayo who told me I needed to pay $40.00 and he would use a clay cleaner to get the spots off the car, I asked what about the random spots on the body of the car and he told me that would be $200 to do the entire car. Keep in mind the entire care did not have areas that needed cleaning. When I got home I used Mr. Magic cleaner and the spots came right off. I think it is unethical for the manager to try to get me to purchase a service that was expensive and that I did not need. I called the store about 3 times in an effort to speak with the owner but each time I was told he was not there. on 9/18 I spoke with the manager who tried to act like he did not understand my concerns. I called today 9/19 and Michelle took my number and said he would call me. Lets see. Unfortunately, I do not have photographs, I was so happy to remove the spots, I did not take any. The marks seemed to be from maybe some type of berries that fell from the tree. read more

I thought it would be easier to go here because it's close to my house but having fear of something being stolen from my car is not something worth it. Even though I went back to report this they thought that giving me a fake adapter when mine was a real Apple product would do it but it didn't. The fake one broke in three days and honestly it's just sad that I have to make the trip to a place that won't steal from my car when I'm at the end of the day getting a service there. And their service is not as detailed as other car washes even if you pay for the highest service "the best". I still had to clean off bird poop and my seats. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

I have washed my car here for many times. Today, I met a thief who stole the money in my car. Please be careful

I've been here several times now and got a great wash each time. I can't really compare prices to others in the are but they seem reasonable. My car comes out pretty much spotless each time, inside and out. The place is also very efficient. On my latest visit (although on a random afternoon), there was no wait, several people ready to go to clean the inside, then send it through the machines, and on the other end a few others ready to towel dry, all within 5-10 minutes. It's quite an easy process. read more

I came here to get a nice car wash before Passover and even paid a step above the basic one and unfortunately I was very disappointed. Granted they were extra busy, but they vacuumed my car for maybe all of 4 seconds (leaving crumbs and debris on the seats and floor) and then dried (some of) my car for 5 seconds. I tried to show an employee that there were still crumbs and he said I had to go back around into the 20 minute line to vacuum again. When I got upfront again, they waved me away. Save your money and find a place that actually cleans your car. read more

Terrible service. I got the super wash and after they were done at the drying portion of the car wash they half assedly wiped my car down. No doors were opened and they didn't even bother to clean the interior glass, the dash board, nothing. I opened my trunk and found a huge amount of soap still in there & im asking the guy (who is now sitting, since I'm toweling off after they quickly wiped my car) and he just shrugs and as I turn around again, he's gone. I pay for the complete service, including the dry. If I wanted to spray water & soap on my car I could have done it as home. read more

If it's a sunny day with a forecasted stretch of fair weather ahead, expect that the line to get into this place will wrap around the block. On days like those (which are frequent), the attention paid to your car will be perfunctory at best. Since this is an automatic car wash, the actual washing, soaping, and lathering is done by machines while your vehicle makes its way down a line. But the vacuuming, initial scrubbing, and towel drying are done by people at the respective head and tail of the process, and on terribly busy days, you can see the spots that have been left behind or ignored. My car has often had soapy streaks that dry into annoying white lines if I don't immediately wipe it up. I've not experienced this, but the landlady that lives downstairs from me also used to come to this car wash frequently until they messed up two of her cars, either because of the automatic line malfunctioned or because of worker error. Of course, no reparations were made by the owners for the damage (I've yet to hear about a car wash that will, in the unfortunate event that damages are made), and that is the risk one takes in handing your car over to a place like this. The prices are fairly reasonable and the price you pay depends on the car wash package you choose when you hand your car over. The cheapest will get you an external-only wash, while the packages of increasing prices throw in other things like Rain-X, wax, and tire shine. They also offer detailing here at an adjoining area, and I've seen dedicated crews working on cars in that area pretty frequently. I've not had it done, but it seems pretty popular. If you're around late at night, they have a $7 after 7 pm bargain discount that attracts a whole lot of folks (again, lines, but they go fairly quickly). read more
